Airport Hotels
If you don't live near to the airport, consider staying the night before you
travel in an airport hotel. It takes the stress of travelling there on the day,
and also means you can start your holiday sooner by enjoying a fun and relaxing
evening together as a family, with the peace of mind that in the morning you
can get up and have a leisurely journey to the airport. Many of our airport
hotels include complimentary parking for the duration of your holiday too. We
can also help you organise coach or train travel to the airport, valet parking
and much more!

Twilight Check in
Virgin Holidays Twilight check in means you can check in between noon and 9.00pm
the day before your flight. In the morning, you can walk past the queues and
head for departures. To find out more visit the Twilight

Online Check in
If you're unable to take advantage of twilight check in, you can save time
at the airport and check in online for Virgin Atlantic flights. Online check
in opens 24 hours before the scheduled departure of your flight and closes 2
hours before. Go here
and enter your Virgin Holidays booking reference, passenger details, passport
numbers and address for your first hotel. When you arrive at the airport go
straight to the Bag Drop adjacent to the normal check in desks and we'll check
your luggage and issue your boarding cards.
Your flight
- Virgin K-ID backpacks help keep kids entertained on Virgin Atlantic flights, but for younger children, take
some of their favourite toys from home that take up to several hours of play, then give them out bit by bit
through the journey to prolong the novelty!
- Virgin Atlantic has an unrivalled selection of in-flight entertainment with a huge range of movies, TV
programmes, audio channels and Nintendo games to help your journey fly by. Visit

to find out what's showing on your flight. On most of our flights you will find the V.Tots channel
(for pre-school), V.KiD (for 5 - 11's) and V.T. (for teens).
- If you are concerned about any of the content, we now have a 'parental block' system on most of our
aircraft. Just ask one of the cabin crew next time you fly
- When it comes to mealtimes we've come up with a menu just for our younger passengers that includes all
of their favourite things like fish fingers, pizza and chocolate, so don't forget to pre-order. You can
request a child meal online now if you are flying with us soon and have your flight details to hand. Please
note meal requests must be made at least 72 hours before travel.
- Flying in economy is all about fun and value, from our free amenity kit to our seat-back TV's. Upgrade
to Premium Economy and enjoy bigger, wider seats with greater recline and all sorts of special touches. There's
a separate cabin, a dedicated cabin service, pre-flight drinks and a tempting menu served on china dinnerware.
