The hotel

Beach View Hotel enjoys a prime location on Barbados' famed West Coast. Set on 5-acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, it also overlooks a stunning bay and is just a short drive from Holetown, the second largest town on the island, with its ultra chic restaurants, casual beach diners, great shopping and lively nightlife. Where is it

Across the road from Paynes Bay Beach in St James, this hotel’s within walking distance of water sports, restaurants, a mini-market, the Paynes Bay Fish Market, and a snorkelling spot to swim with turtles. It’s just five minutes’ drive from Holetown, with its restaurants, supermarkets, nightlife, and shopping including the Limegrove shopping centre, and 15 minutes from Bridgetown. Nearby golf courses include Sandy Lane, five minutes’ drive away, Royal Westmoreland and Apes Hill, each 15 minutes’ drive away, and the Barbados Golf Club, 35 minutes’ drive away. Transfer time from airport: 40 minutes.

36 Classic Suites in 4 buildings on 3 floors, each building has a lift. Air-conditioning, cable TV, WiFi, iPod docking station, telephone, full kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, full oven, four burner hob, fridge with freezer and ice maker, coffee maker, and washing machine and dryer, laptop safe, hairdryer, iron and board, and beach towels. Baby cots* available on request. Some apartments have a private patio.  

10 Villas and 9 Luxury Suites, with open-plan living and dining areas, air-conditioning, cable TV, WiFi, iPod docking station, telephone, full kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, full oven, four burner hob, fridge with freezer and ice maker, coffee maker, and washing machine and dryer, laptop safe, hairdryer, iron and board, and beach towels. Baby cots* available on request & extra charge.  

1-Bedroom Classic Suites are 1,000 sq. ft. with both a shower and bath in the separate bathroom and have 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Breakfast option: includes a continental, à la carte breakfast. 

2-Bedroom Classic Suites are 1,372 sq. ft. feature a shower and bath in the master bathroom; shower only in 2nd bathroom and have 1 king-size bed and 2 twin beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

3-Bedroom Classic Suites are 1,817 sq. ft. feature a shower and bath in the master bathroom; shower only in 2nd bathroom and have 2 king-size beds and 2 twin beds, sleeping maximum 6 adults or 2 adults and 4 children.

One Bedroom Luxury Suites are 1,000 sq ft featuring living and dining area with terrace or balcony, fully equipped kitchen and washing machine and dryer. Each has 1 king-size bed and ensuite bathroom. sleeping maximum 2 adults. Shower only.

Two Bedroom Villas are 1,500 sq ft spread over 2 levels. On the ground floor there is a living and dining area with terrace, fully equipped kitchen and washing machine and dryer. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one with king-size bed or 2 twin beds and ensuite bathroom and the other with either 1 king-size or 2 twin beds and ensuite bathroom, sleeping maximum 4 adults. Showers only.

On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one with either 1 king-size bed or 2 twin beds and ensuite bathroom and the other with either 1 king-size or 2 twin beds and ensuite bathroom, sleeping maximum 6 adults. Showers only.

Three Bedroom Luxury Suites are 2,100 sq ft with living and dining area with terrace or balcony, fully equipped kitchen and washing machine and dryer. Master bedroom with private terrace, ensuite bathroom and 1 king-size bed, second bedroom with ensuite bathroom and 1 king-size bed, and third bedroom with ensuite bathroom and either 1 king-size bed or 2 twin beds, sleeping maximum 6 adults. Sugar Apple bar open nightly with Happy Hour on Wednesdays & Fridays. Seasonal themed nights available, e.g. Caribbean buffet on Monday nights.

A Tourism Fee will be charged per bedroom, per night and will be collected at check out. The rate is subject to change by the Government, and varies by hotel room. Fantastic second visit to Beach View - the Sugar Apple cafe food was excellent and the new pool and surroundings are great. Superbly located, no need for taxis to get to QP Bistro and The Cliff as they are located opposite the apartments. Paynes Bay is a short walk away. Can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Barbados.

We had a amazing stay. There were 31 family members and friends who stayed at the hotel. Even though we were at the resort, we had our owe individual space. The location was perfect.

We loved our stay at Beach View. Clean, modern rooms, lovely staff and great location. The gardens are beautiful and the venue offers three pools and very close proximity to the beach for dips in the beautiful sea and to local eateries for varied lunch and dinner options. Would definitely stay again

We enjoyed dining on-site in the hotel restaurant, some self catering in our spacious apartment and also visiting some of the nearby restaurants. Do make use of the local buses - just $3.75 BD for any distance and an easy way to see the island. We have already booked again for next year! Read less

This is a beautiful hotel resort just steps from a snorkel beach with crystal clear water, numerous fish, and sometimes, TURTLES. The rooms are incredibly spacious for the price we paid, with a beach view dining area and balcony. An onsite cafe and car rental are convenient, with additional restaurants within easy walking distance. All the reception, cafe, snack shack, cleaner and security staff are so friendly, courteous, helpful, and kind. Free use of floaties, pool and sand toys, and beach chairs is an unusual and unexpected plus. We found the local sites an easy and interesting half hour drive north (St. Nicholas Abbey distillery and plantation and steam train tours, Hunte's Garden). Then there is BARBADOS, a beautiful and welcoming place with crystal clear waters. We will return. Read less
