Our second visit to East Winds and just as special. A wonderful place to relax and recharge. The weather was perfect and the grounds stunning. Staff were delightful, warm and friendly. The water sports team were the stars for us. No request was too much for them. Their experienced tuition on sailing and paddle boarding was exceptional. Thank you Joe, Davon and Damien. Food is mostly good especially the lunchtime BBQ. Dinner was on occasions slightly disappointing and we rarely had all the courses. Just not necessary. Perhaps focus should shift to quality and not quantity offering a really top notch entree instead of lots of little courses. Our room was charming and spotlessly clean. However, we had to ask twice to have bathroom light bulb replaced and net curtain in the bedroom had seen better days! The sunset cruise was fantastic and well organised. My criticisms are minor and mentioned only to ensure this incredible place remains top notch in the hope that we will be able to return soon. We would strongly recommend East Winds if you are looking for some peace, space and luxury. Read less

Having decided to visit East Winds, for our 50th wedding anniversary, helped by the many outstanding reviews and comments. We were looking forward to our holiday/ anniversary for months. Despite our Travel agent notifying them in advance, in writing, of the specific date of the occasion, and booking a special meal on arrival at the property, for the next evening, the event didn’t happen, resulting in immense disappointment, especially for my wife. The following morning I asked what had gone wrong, and for an explanation, I was assured, the lady we booked with was in the office, and would get back to us. This didn’t happen, Two more senior members of staff were asked about this over the next couple of days, again nothing. We concluded, they couldn’t care less, and totally ignorant. We did our best to enjoy our holiday, but It was obviously ruined, due to disgraceful management. On a positive, the resort is very nice, rooms comfortable but dated, breakfast and lunch average, Evening meal Excellent, entertainment very good. Shop floor staff excellent, very friendly, met some lovely people. Read less

This resort is as close to eden as you can get without actually meeting Adam and Eve. Tranquil, secluded luxury. Everyone was so friendly knowing what we wanted/needed before we did. There was only one exception being the cuisine which was not just 5 star but 5 star plus quality. Well done Titus and team. We'll definitely be going back to cheer… Read more

Rooms well appointed & presented . Restaurant very good with excellent service & ambience, especially at Dinner . I personally found the food patchy , breakfast always good , although the pastries very dry & underwhelming. Lunch choices not particularly appetising , apart from the BBQ’s , but Dinner mainly very enjoyable . A natural beach area with plenty of sun loungers & shades to accommodate the 30 rooms . Subtle entertainment to complement Dinner in the evenings & occasionally at lunchtimes too . Bar Staff very efficient & always good fun . A selection of Tours & activities organised exclusively for Guests . A very relaxing peaceful Hotel set in beautifully kept gardens where nothing is too much trouble for the super efficient Staff who work there . Read less

After our February Wedding in Barbados, we arrived at East Winds for our 7 night honeymoon. We were promptly shown to our cottage number 7. The room was made up and dressed delightfully. The whole place was immaculate. It was such a pleasure to discover the beautiful gardens and pool area. The food was superb and staff were attentive at all times. We enjoyed the yoga in the pavilion and made use of the kayaks and paddle boards. The whole week almost feels like a dream, there was such an aura of peace and serenity about the place. We loved watching the hummingbirds flitting around the nectar feeders from the bedroom. We now have a little holiday brain fog so cannot possibly remember the names of all the truly lovely staff, but a few to thank and mention, as follows; Wendell the bar tender with the most amazing grin and smile, Sylvia, for her interesting chats and words of wisdom, Simion (Good Vibes), for arranging our excursions, Michel at the pool bar, such a young knowledgable happy chap and Sylvanus, the head gardener with a passion for horticulture and the natural environment. Without a doubt, we will return, but next time make it a longer stay. Roger & Louise Ambrose. Read less
