Sandals Saint Vincent

The hotel was amazing , they are missing more nightly entertainment and more activities. The new concept restaurant farm to table is excellent. We met a new employee to Sandals named Ernesto that it is well deserving of a shout out . Housekeeping was at its best , employees need a lot more training they are new to the Sandals system lacking alot of details. This island is gorgeous and the beach amazing crystal clear, the Island hoping was lacking a lot for the $600.00 they charge. I think in 2 years they will be able to become one of the best. Firstly, the people… so genuinely friendly and open. Everybody works hard to ensure a wonderful stay. Then we have this fabulous resort. It is close to being completed and the ongoing work on the overwater villas had no impact on our enjoyment. The setting is in a beautiful valley making it gorgeous to gaze at while bobbing in the ocean. The design is what I would call quiet and serene luxury. It feels like Sandals (been to a few others) has crossed into a new era. Our room was spacious and beautiful, just like the pictures on Sandals website. The restaurants all look good and good food. Buccan was a wonderful experience - local dishes that are served family style. Explosions of flavour at every stage of the meal. The sunset cruise was awesome… we saw dolphins and flying fish! The plants and flowers are beautiful and I can just imagine what it will be like when they are more mature. Back to the people… Dianne our butler was wonderful - she has experience and it shows. Reynesia and Ranell were also on hand to take care of us. All 3 of them knew how to do this without hovering over us. Cocktails by Paul Je at Scrimshaw were great. At the main pool Stevenson and Jurani made our drinks while singing and dancing to DJ Rayparker’s awesome music - loved it! Shout out to bartenders Nadia, Zarifa and Shanisse! We recently returned from our trip to Sandals St. Vincent. It was hands down our best Sandals vacation to date. Yes, it is new, and along with that, it has some growing to do. There was a bit of construction ongoing for the overwater cabins. That in NO WAY infringed on our absolute enjoyment for our 2 week stay. Our butlers were Dianne, Reynesia and Ranell. They were, in a word, Perfect. Anticipated our every need, made all of our reservations and were extremely prompt in giving us everything we asked for and some we didn’t. In particular, we like a particular brand of gin, the resort didn’t have it on hand, but was in our room the next day. Lovely!! The staff were beautiful and awesome. All of the many we encountered. Some of the names I don’t recall, and for that I apologize. But, Miloney was memorable for her skills and her giggles😎 Stephenson and Juroni were the best poolside ‘tenders we’ve seen. Paul Je and his custom cocktails at Scrimshaw, which was a great seafood experience as well. Nadia, Zarifa and Shanicce at the rum bar were exceptional as well. Ask for the ‘Sunset’ rum!!! It’s memorable. All of our culinary experiences were excellent. Butch’s, Sora, Scrimshaw, Gatsu, Gatsu have delicious food and great wait staff. The 2 coffe bars were fantastic. We like our pizza well done and got it that way. Delicious different options than at other Sandals. We didn’t partake in the salad bar, so cannot comment. Bu5, I see that others enjoyed it very much So, lastly, our two favourite experiences Avon this trip were our visit to Buccan restaurant and the butler sunset cruise. Buccan was so cool. I love the family style seating and eating. All local ingredients lovingly cooked and served by a talented crew of locals. It was entertaining and lively and wonderful. You need reservations, so book when you get there. The hi-lite was the Butler cruise at sunset. Mr. David Harris and his staff arranged for 5his trip, and it was fun, and completely enjoyable. Everyone on board had a good time. The best was cruising with the dolphins. They seemed to enjoy performing for us! Seriously. If you have a chance to go, do it!! Lastly, the Island, and the St. Vincent people. Beautiful, friendly, open, humble, hard working, resourceful and just really genuine. We will return soon. So thank you again Mr. Harris, Dianne, and everyone we met there. I believe when the resort is fully finished, it will become the jewel of the Sandals portfolio. Read less

The trip was so fun!! Jonte, Jiggie, Miloni, Ernesto, Stevenson and ZION were the BEST. They all need raises! Seriously the BEST! Food was awesome! The chocolate muffins were so delicious and it was so beautiful and relaxing! The pool games were awesome (volleyball, throwing the football)! The bar staff was also so kind! We loved our stay! 11/10 recommend!! Read less
