The hotel

Relaxation and tranquility is what you’ll find at this laidback boutique hotel on the golden shores of Grace Bay. But the resort’s major highlight is the spectacular coral reef just 20 yards from the shore – perfect for both experienced and novice divers alike. It’s not just snorkelling you can enjoy at the Windsong, there’s a range of complimentary activities on offer including kayaks, glass bottom boats, and bicycle rental for you to get out and explore the surrounding areas, both on land and sea! Many of the room types have kitchenettes or even fully equipped kitchens so you can cook up a storm for the family. This was our 9th trip to TCI and our 9th time staying at the Windsong. This was our first trip bringing our 16-month-old son. We typically stay in a one-bedroom ocean front suite but this time we were fortunate enough to be offered the one-bedroom penthouse! To say that we were surprised was an understatement! The staff here always goes above and beyond to make the stay comfortable and memorable, and this trip was one we will never forget. The penthouse was incredible. The spanning views of Grace Bay from the rooftop are heavenly – including sunrise and sunset. There was also a hot tub on the deck that we enjoyed at night, and we laid on the lounge chairs in the mornings to have coffee. Inside the room, we utilized the oversized closet, (literally, the size of a small room) that was ventilated as nursery space, which fit our son’s crib and a chair. Although we spent little time watching tv, our son did appreciate the smart TVs connected to the internet to enjoy his Disney shows. Breakfast at the Dunes is our favorite way to start every day and this time did not disappoint. The food and service were great, and it is always a treat to get to catch up with all of our friends, especially Samuel and Jerome. Everyone was incredibly accommodating with everything for our son, taking special food requests, bringing us a highchair, etc. The beach and beach service were great, as always! We love to spend our days lounging on the beach, in the water, or floating in one of the saucers. We weren’t sure what that was going to be like this time bringing our son with us, but it ended up being even better than we hoped! We had brought his own sand toys, but the Windsong also have toys they provide for kids if you don’t want to pack your own. Larry had a special setup for us with an umbrella and a hut setup together to create more shade for our son so he could enjoy the beach for longer periods of time without getting too hot. We love the beach staff, and they are always quick to take your order. Omar took great care of us and would even choose to come play with our son in the sand when he had a few minutes between taking orders! Early morning snorkeling on the reef just right off the beach was one of our favorite things. It is very calm and relaxing. Larry was helpful in getting us snorkeling equipment. We must commend the helpfulness of the butlers. They are an excellent source for recommendations for excursions, taxis, dinner reservations, etc. They provided us with an excellent recommendation for a babysitter while we went on an excursion. She took him down to the beach, let him swim, and gave him all the snacks he could have wanted. It was great to be able to unwind as a couple, knowing he was in such good hands with not only the childcare they helped us get but also knowing we had so many friends on staff that were also looking out for him. The Windsong’s property is first class, and the location is perfect, but the one thing that keeps us coming back is the incredible people they have working there. We cannot thank the staff, Annette, and Mr. Molter enough for all that they do for us every time we come back. They all go out of their way to do countless things for the guests to make them feel welcomed and relaxed. We already have our trip for this summer booked and we cannot wait to be sipping one of Khalil’s “Welcome Rum Punches” again very soon! Read less

Lovely staff that kept all surroundings clean. Definitely on island time but it is to be expected. Don't come to an international country and expect it to be like a city. Friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure smooth communications and experience. The Tuesday pasta special was a highlight as well as the happy hour till 7.

The beach and pool area were very clean and comfortable. Awesome snorkeling right off the beach. The restaurant bar and restaurant with tables looking onto the beach is a nice experience and the food was delicious. Sunset dinner at night is special. Cabanas on the beach were relaxing and the service was outstanding. Love all the water activities included like kayaking and paddle boarding and the workout facility is a plus. The staff was very kind and attentive. Kahlil was very helpful and accommodating as a butler/concierge. There was construction for the additional building next door which will increase the room volumes and beachfront however it is hardly noticeable. Management has done a fantastic job with this resort and we will definitely be back! Read less

Nice place, the units were nice, we stayed in a 2-bedroom ocean front deluxe suite, we liked the layout, and we would consider going back again. In our opinion, we liked the layout of the deluxe unit better than the other 2-bedroom suite. Only downside, the beach is on the smaller size due to the existing reef. In our opinion, we liked the layout of the deluxe unit better than the other 2-bedroom suite. Only downside, the beach is on the smaller size due to the existing reef. Although they are in construction on the new building next door, there was minimum activity and nothing bothered us while there, very minimal noise. Read less
