750 rooms and suites. All with air-conditioning, 43" flat-screen TV, telephone, alarm clock, mini-fridge, safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and complimentary WiFi access. 

Standard Rooms feature 2 queen-size beds sleeping maximum 4 persons.

Pool View rooms have 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 persons. 

2-Bedroom Suites feature a kitchenette with microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker and picnic-style dining table. The first bedroom has 2 queen-sized beds, and the second has 1 queen-size bed, sleeping maximum 6 persons.

The resort has excellent customer service . Staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean . I would go back without thinking twice about it. The hotel does not use strong smelling cleaning products which is good for persons who have allergies .

We had such a great stay at this resort! The beds were comfortable the staff was wonderful and it was great to have a free shuttle bus. Also on site was a Starbucks and a Universal Studios store with great selections! We only had a day and a half at Surfside so we didn't get to dine in but we would definitely come back!

However I was moved immediately. The rooms are spacious and clean. Coffee facilities are in the room. The hotel is ideally situated for Universal and Islands of Adventure. Buses are frequent, every 8 minutes. Food at the hotel is nice. We also ate breakfast at the Waffle House literally 5 mins walk. There is a bus that goes to I Drive albeit we got an Uber. Great restaurant at I Drive - try Bahama Breeze, the paella is awesome. This hotel is a gem and we really enjoyed our stay. Would we recommend this hotel? Most definitely. The Sand Bar is great fun to especially with Andy the bar man very chatty and helpful with tips: keep up the amazing work! Read less

We used the quick service restaurant most mornings and evenings and that was fine. The only 2 issues were that the room smelt very heavily of bleach at check in, enough to give us headaches (I stood and fanned the door open and closed for around 30 minutes to get rid of as much of the smell as possible). Second issue being when an incredibly noisy party checked in directly above us for the last 2 nights), the first night we thought it maybe a fight as they were so loud, this carried on until around midnight and was repeated the next night. We reported this to reception but they couldn't do anything unfortunately. Read less
