Had to take a second floor room so had to drag all out stuff upstairs. Room keys didn’t work had to go back to front desk for new keys wanted to get reservations at the rainbow room and got fobbed off to open table that wasn’t working and no one at the front desk cared to help me out. I would not recommend staying here room was dirty had to have housekeeping come back and it still wasn’t cleaned. Staff was less than helpful. Beware do not stay here you are better off staying in town which has good views as well. Read less

The positives of this place are the incredibly scenic vistas of rock and water, and the grounds. The positives of this place are the incredibly scenic vistas of rock and water, and the grounds. The negatives, for us, were no pool towels available for 2 days, a broken toilet seat in the room, room key quit working on 2nd day, room clerk had no apologies for that, drinks in the vending machine were lukewarm, and if you try and call the front desk, it just rings and rings and eventually goes to a full voicemail box. Friendly service at Driftwood Lounge, but food was just ok. This place is geared to the large tour buses that pull up every evening and pull out every morning and you'll hear all the doors slam when people put their luggage out by 7 a.m. It's a mixed bag. Even with all our problems, we'd probably still return for the beautiful views. Read less

Two story hotel with lots of rooms but no elevator so you’ll have to make several trips to the car if you have a lot of luggage or children. Dumpy and outdated furniture (scratched and peeling badly) decor. Beds are comfortable but pillows are flat. The outdoor area by the pool and the restaurant/bar area are kept up, the grounds were not.

The only good thing about this resort is the location on Lake Powell. The rest is not good. I don't know if it was too early in the season and they just opened......but.......we had no coffee in our room, nor Kleenex or condiments for coffee, nor a luggage rack, nor drink cups. Had to go to front desk for wash cloths. I would not stay here… Read more

Beautiful location and the facilities are nice. The service however was subpar. Wanted to go to the pool and went by the front desk to pick up a towel. They didn't have any but they said they would have one delivered to me at the pool...waited over an hour, no towel. Went back to the front desk they said that they hadn't heard back from… Read more

They didn't have any but they said they would have one delivered to me at the pool...waited over an hour, no towel. Went back to the front desk they said that they hadn't heard back from housekeeping. Which brings me to the second issue. Our room was never cleaned while we were at the resort. We didn't have any coffee pods in our room, so I went back to the front desk. They said they didn't have any and that they were on back order! I will say our waiter in the Driftwood Lounge was exceptional and is vastly out of place with the rest of the employees at this resort. Read less
