We were there with lots of family and everyone was havong a good time. Noone had anything negative to say about the accomodations and we were grateful to be able to take over a section of the Deans List for breakfast each morning and also in the evening for nightcps.

I cannot express the disappointment and anger I had from my hotel stay! Being a hotel directly next to Mass General hospital, I expect more empathy and support! I came into the hotel after being asked to leave the hospital (long story, they said I could stay the night, but then was asked to leave due to visiting hours). We were there for the Marathon and had a family emergency that brought us to Mass General via ambulance. I am from our of state so I had NO WHERE to go when I was asked to leave the hospital and no the hospital didn't help. I left the hospital (10:30pm) with a brand new white blanket and my laptop. Yes, I was emotional! Crying, tired from only having 5 hours of sleep in 36 hours. I came to the front desk asked how much a room was. Upon hearing the cost, I asked if they thought I could get a cheaper rate if I looked at my phone and booked. The gentle man said possibly. I put my brand new white blanket and my laptop on the couch, sat there and was looking at my phone. As I sat down Jerry (a security guard) looked at me pointed to the front desk asking very rudely and loud, is she a guest, he didn't wait for answer and yelled at me saying I could not stay. Absolutely I could not stay and told me to leave as he pointed to the door. I was flabbergasted. I didn't say a word! I grabbed my stuff and left. I was treated like a vagrant. This hotel is next to the hospital! I am sure there are many emotional people looking for a night to stay due to emergencies. Nothing was asked of me. Nothing at all! No one asked if I was ok. No one asked anything! Especially the gentleman who helped me at the front desk. I am absolutely appalled! I found out the guards name and did complain to the manager the next day when I was calmer, but till VERY hurt. The manage said she was going to look at the tape and she appeared shocked at the news I was sharing because Jerry has never done such a thing. Doesn't matter, doesn't make me feel any better that she was shocked - Jerry did it! Then to throw salt in on my wounds - a bill for close to $400 for a stay at the hotel that lasted 7 hours. Did the manage reach out to me afterward. NO! Again, a hotel that close to a hospital needs to have better trained staff to step up for customers and better trained security guards to be looking out for those who are going through a tough time. Same on on you! Read less

Horrible dated, dirty and grungy hotel! The only good thing this hotel has is that it’s in Downtown Boston which makes it easy to walk everywhere you need to go. But this hotel is in serious competition with motel 6! Horrible! They will not clean your room or put new towels unless you request what you want. Additionally when we showered the bathtub was clogged, the fixtures were loose and beds felt like if you were sleeping on coils alone. Trying to rest was a bit difficult as next to our room they were partying at 3:00am as if it was 3:00pm without any courtesy whatsoever. Absolutely disliked this hotel! Read less
