This is my fifth stay, I think, at Petit Ermitage, and once again I am amazed at the quality of customer service and attention to detail for the customer experience. This hotel has been around for awhile now, so it would be natural for it to have lost its edge or start taking customers for granted — but it hasn’t happened! The quality remains uniformly high. The best part is the staff, always helpful and attentive. The hotel has obviously fostered a culture of excellence in hiring and training. When we arrived yesterday, we were stressed and tired, and had questions about our room choice. Miles at the front desk was very helpful making sure we were satisfied with the room and that we got everything we were looking for. AJ also went out of his way to make sure that our stay was living up to expectations. We usually stay in an Executive Suite, but chose a 1 bedroom for this visit. I’ll probably stick with the Executive Suite in the future, but the 1 bedroom is great too, especially if you value having a kitchenette. The rooms are incredibly spacious by West Hollywood standards. Another thing I love about Petit Ermitage is that the rooftop never isn’t crowded or overwhelmed, even when the hotel is completely booked. By limiting rooftop pool and restaurant access to hotel guests only, the peaceful vibe is never compromised. It’s just a great place to hang out and relax. The groovy music playlist is exceptional too! So, all in all, it’s a great hotel experience, and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when in LA! Read less

Petit is the perfect hideaway for an LA staycation. The rooftop is oasis-like. The food is just what you want poolside. The new lounge is beautiful and perfect for a cocktail at night or even a daytime meeting. The staff is attentive but not too-much so. It's a dreamy hotel that shines amongst the sea of West Hollywood properties to choose from.… Read more

Image of the Tripadvisor rating Great drinks and even better oysters, an escape from LA in LA.

My first visit to Petit and definitely not the last. Living in LA you have to appreciate a place that helps you escape the work week anxiety for a few hours. Great drinks and even better oysters. Oddly calm, plus some much needed noise - it all makes sense.
