The hotel

Bringing that island feel to the Californian desert city, Margaritaville Resort Palm Springs is the first of the famous chain on the West Coast so you can enjoy the relaxed and colourful vibe as part of your US road trip, or for a chance to chill out by the pool with a cocktail in hand. With a calendar of activities including poolside games, movie nights and live DJ’s, this large resort caters for all ages. There’s two pools to relax by, or visit the spa for an array of treatments that will have you feeling like you’re on a secluded island somewhere! You’re just moments from the shopping and golf that Palm Springs is famous for, and parking is included in the resort fee. You don’t need to leave the resort really though – you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to food. Enjoy a steak at JWB Grill, quasedillas by the pool, or grab a takeaway pizza and enjoy it on your balcony when you book a Deluxe Room. If you’ve visited a Margaritaville before you’ll know they’re famous for the ‘5 o’clock somewhere’ bar and this place is no different. It’s the staple of any Margaritaville experience.

Pool service was a five out of five. Christian went beyond and above for us. Had such a great attitude and super friendly. He made our day. Can’t wait to come back to enjoy the experience again. He was such a delight. He made our whole trip and we had a large group..

1. Filled out a credit card authorization form (Which took me 3 weeks to actual get someone to email me) and still charged my card I booked with, so they DOUBLE charged me. #2. We booked a $500 Cabana at the pool. And (TWICE) the server came to ask us if we needed anything the entire day and we were there from 11-5pm. The rest of the entire day we had to go to the bar ourselves to get drinks and/or try to track ‘Christian the server’ down to ask him for drinks. #3. There were Ants all over our room the entire night, Our kids’ room was fine but our ants all over, I couldn’t put a cup down or our dinner on the table. we went downstairs to let the front desk clerk know about it around 10-11pm, they just noted it. I cleaned them up and we went to bed, again waking up with them all over our packaged food and drinks and all over the dresser. I attached a couple photos but I have videos as well if needed. All in all this has been an absolute bust and more of an aggravation than anything. I am very upset and disappointed with our service and stay here. Read less

On my last day there was a huge roach in the restroom. Showed front desk staff pictures and they changed my room but it appeared someone had been in that room briefly. Probably because the neighboring guests were very loud. Soap and towel was used and one bed appeared sat on. Too tired to move again. It wasn’t worth the hassle. Everything else was booked so my job selected this hotel. Told them in the future I’d rather drive in from a nearby area if margaritaville is the only option. Read less

The room was just ok. It was nearly impossible to get someone to answer the phone when calling front desk, restaurants or valet or guest services. Room service was a joke as no one ever returned the call or delivered the order this morning. I get that it's Mother's Day weekend but that's not an excuse. I'm a paying customer and also a mother… Read more

Bed & pillows are comfortable. Very clean hotel. Friendly staff except for the rude lady that checked us in. Pool is very nice. Good drinks at the bar. Bathroom is clean . Warm shower. I would definitely love to come back here again on our next vacation.
