The room was a corner room as I upgraded, it was big and comfortable. The housekeeping staff didn’t service my room one one day of my stay, they missed me, I called reception and they asked the housekeeper to come, but after with g for half an hour I called back and told them to forget it as I wanted to go to bed by that stage. The room servicing was a bit hit and miss, could use some improvement on the little details, but otherwise I enjoyed my stay in the hub if the gaslight area. Read less

On top of that every staff member we encountered was super nice but I must mention Tiffany at the front desk for her professionalism & overall hospitality. We arrived late around 10pm & she welcomed us with a smile & recommendations. Throughout our stay she always greeted us with a smile & friendly hello asking how our day was. She’s top notch. Only complain was I wanted to purchase the adorable margarita flip flops but they only had size 7. Hopefully next time! Read less

This has to have been the best experience we have had at a Margaritaville. As Parrot Heads we frequent many MV properties. What stuck out to us about this property is the amazing location, decor, and rooms. What made this one of our favorite experiences across the board is the amazing, friendly, and fun staff! We absolutely loved our experiences at the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Rooftop Bar, as well as the Landshark Bar and Grill. Delicious food, drinks, and great live music. I’d like to highlight a few of the outstanding bar staff members that impacted our experience over the past few days: Bret and Jay, our amazing bartenders. They were both very engaging and friendly. They remembered us by name on multiple occasions and provided exceptional service even when being super busy. They are by far our favorite bartenders. The “Dynamic Dou” according to their boss Trevor, General Manager. Their attention to detail and memorization are one of a kind. Also, would like to praise Ryan and Dave, who both went out of their way to facilitate us sitting at the bar in “Landshark”, even amongst the chaos. They also made us feel as if we were priority at all times throughout our dinner. Highly recommend the new Peanut Butter Tequila. It absolutely changed our world as we are tequila experts. We have yet to see or hear about this tequila. The general manager Trevor treated us as VIP’s throughout the entirety of our stay. He also gifted my husband a Margaritaville sweatshirt for no reason at all. He simply asked us to recognize his amazing staff as they have been working so hard to exceed all incoming guests expectations. To us, this was already a no brainer. Can’t thank him enough for treating us so special. Thank you once again Trevor, Staff, and Margaritaville San Diego. You will be seeing us very soon! Read less

I will never stay there again. The room was dirty--we found nuts and other debris on the floor, hairs/other icky things on the duvet, and sand in the sheets. It was very loud--other guests woke us up regularly until a little after 2 am. They charged my guest "event parking" when we were not attending the event. I didn't feel valued as a guest,… Read more

It was very loud--other guests woke us up regularly until a little after 2 am. They charged my guest "event parking" when we were not attending the event. I didn't feel valued as a guest, they look out for themselves and their bottom line above guest experience. Everything was overpriced, including their coffee shop, where we overpaid for terrible microwaved bagels my kids couldn't eat. I don't recommend. Read less
