The hotel

There's a friendly boutique atmosphere at the Omni, thanks in part to its Florentine Renaissance architecture. Built as a bank in 1926, the hotel is quite grand, with Italian marble and Austrian crystal chandeliers in the lobby. A great way to get your bearings in the city is to join the free Saturday morning walking tour — find out about its history, architecture, legends and more. Fortunately, you don’t need a guide to find your way to Bob’s Steak & Chop House, which serves some of the best steaks in town. Bob’s Bar is also popular; check out the monthly cocktail special, made using local ingredients.

This is one of my favorite hotels, period. It's conveniently located, luxurious, and literally the entire staff is fantastic. You absolutely want to eat or at least have a cocktail at Monte's. I wish I could mention every single staff member’s name because not one fell short of 5 star service. Everyone smiled and no request was left unfulfilled. You had to leave with a smile. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this hotel or recommend it to anyone. Firaaz, Youseph, Adam, Ramil, Dong, Tina,Mustafa, Pat, are just among the few who made our stay so comfortable.
