The hotel

In a hillside woodland setting close to the entrance to Yosemite National Park, Rush Creek Lodge offers warm, friendly service and a wealth of activities. You can hire a bike, enjoy a yoga class, relax by the pool or play a game of bumper pool! Enjoy the fresh California cuisine at the lodge’s two restaurants — both with al fresco seating for the warmer days. Choose between the rustic yet stylish Restaurant with its wood-burning oven and open kitchen, or the more casual Tavern with its big screen TVs, signature cocktails and evening music. There's also daily activities, from wildlife talks and kids crafts to beer tasting - and the lodge's nightly tradition of complimentary s'mores by the fire pit.

Amazing place to stay with kids so much for them to do and the game rooms did not cost extra. The whole resort was very clean, good food and drinks. Beautiful spot to relax we will definitely be back and hopefully will stay a little bit longer and have time to hike some of the trails as well.

Very kind and helpful staff with beautiful accomodations! The lodge was clean and quiet which made for a perfect brief stay. Breakfast in the restaurant was also wonderful with large portions. We got stranded on the side of the road when our rental car broke down at night. Lucky, we were near the lodge and they graciously took care of us! They let us stay in their lobby late to charge our phones and figure out next steps, even offering to open the already closed general store for us to get food. They got us a room with a delayed check out, no questions asked, when we found out our new vehicle wouldn't be delivered until the next afternoon. Very grateful that we broke down here and we will always remember the stay here that was never supposed to be. Read less

We almost ended up in the ditch at the base of Rush creek which seemed like an obvious sign. Isaac went out of his way to welcome us, finding us a room, getting us a shovel to get our car our, warmed us with hot chocolate and even showed me how to operate the laundry to dry out our wet clothes. The warm pool and hot tub were glorious and we were much better able to enjoy the beautiful snow covered trees and mountains in our comfortable warm and dry room. Exactly what we needed Read less
