This is by far the most beautiful resort we've ever stayed at! The hotel completely exceeded our expectations for our honeymoon. The room, spa, restaurants, pools were all amazing. My only recommendation for travelers is to explore the food and drink options off the hotel property. The food and drinks were amazing here but are very expensive. We found great food at places like the Masubi food truck, Da crack Mexican food, and happy hour at Kalapaki Joes which is about a mile from the resort. I can't recommend staying at this resort enough! It is absolutely worth the money and is nicely locate in Poipu. Read less

I’m writing this on the first night of my fourth stay at GHK. The resort is overrun by a convention. Multiple areas of the resort are off-limits to other guests, sales bros are everywhere, and loud bands play for hours. There is no aloha or peace. Anyone not part of the convention is essentially an afterthought and a second-class guest. I’m… Read more

What a beautiful property with an outstanding staff. The attentive and friendly staff made it a wonderful stay. Tracy (concierge) was fabulous in helping us arrange our excursions!!
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Truly the best aloha in Kauai

May 14, 2024 Tyler S Dallas, Texas USA

Justin and Cindi and the rest of the team in the Grand Lounge are exceptional; friendly, professional, kind … the epitome of Aloha. Ana and Victoria are joyful and heartwarming. The resort is a beautiful Grant Hyatt and could really be anywhere in the world … except for the aloha of the wonderful people that make it truly Hawaiian. Mahalo!
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Dire customer service

Not what I was expecting from an American hotel. Customer service lacked presence. Staff would only smile or chat if tipped. Everyone looked bored. Astronomical price tag for zero customer service. The “resort fee” to improve your experience is just another cash grab/extorting money from you.
