The hotel

Surrounded by lush palm trees, with views of the ocean, this hotel will have you feeling relaxed in no time. From the real hardwood flooring in every room to the volcanic slate flooring through the rest of the property the hotel symbolises the beautiful Hawaiian island throghout - giving you the real 'Beach Life' experience. Opt for a terrace room for the best views and outdoor space, and you'll get access to the Monkeypod Club Lounge too which also offers stunning views from the top of the hotel (and some free snacks of course!). The infinity pool is beautiful, and is accompanied by a poolside bar and restaurant that gives off 'Beach Club' vibes. You're only steps from Luxury Row with it's shops, restaurants and bars, and you can also be at the beach in no time - where you'll have beach chairs, umbrellas and all you need for a day on the sand. Oh, and we musn't forget about the sauna - Waikiki's only park view sauna, and that really adds to the experience.

My partner and I stayed at La Croix Hotel in Hawaii for four nights in May 2024. As travellers looking for a blend of comfort and convenience, we found this hotel to be a mixed bag that left us with mixed feelings. The room itself was adequate but did not fully meet our expectations. While it was relatively clean and spacious enough, we were disappointed by the absence of in-room coffee-making facilities, a feature we often look forward to and appreciate in our accommodations. Additionally, the overall layout and furnishings were ok. One significant inconvenience was the lack of readily available water, tea, or coffee in the room. Every morning we had to trek down to the lobby for a drink. This became particularly tiresome when all we wanted was the ease of preparing a hot beverage in the comfort of our room. On the positive side, the hotel is situated in a location that allowed us easy access to local attractions and amenities, which was a major plus during our stay. The staff at the front desk were helpful and courteous, assisting us with directions and recommendations, which enhanced our overall experience. Overall, while La Croix Hotel benefits from its location, it would greatly benefit from paying attention to the small comforts that can make a big difference in a guest's stay. We would hesitate to return unless these issues were addressed, as the convenience of location alone was not enough to offset the daily inconveniences we faced. Read less
