No resort fees when booking with points (Marriott charges resort fees). Get the Hyatt credit card with Chase for amazing free nights and points. They gave my wife a chocolate box for her birthday when we check in. Such friendly staffs. Great location, can’t be any closer to the beach. Amazing experience.

Wonderful large room with the best view in Waikiki. Great location. Great staff. No hotel staff on street. Easy to get lost finding your room.

The facilities are warn down, poorly maintained and service is way below reason. Overall, we had a terrible experience. Checkin is at 2F, hard to find the tiny single elevator they have for the two towers… understaffed, waited 15mins - early checkin, while requested, was not available. No way the hotel was full. The elevator is a clinking drag, gets you pray at each ride. The Clubhouse has 10 tables, for the two towers of 40 floors - stayed a week and could never get breakfast as packed throughout. Else, they bring in the cheapest Costco merch for the rest of the day. Only cheap wines or beer cans available, BUT you got to pay for. Hygiene is definitely not the Hyatt you know. Pigeons fly in and poop and the smell is just amazing. The rooms are dusty, old carpets on the floor, beds must have been used for decades, terrible to sleep in. You hear the noise from rooms around and outside, all loud and clear. Tiny pool, at the 3F - good walk to get to, and no showers near. Toilets’ hygiene is appalling. Towel and bulky heavy chair ‘service’ also at 3F, you have to carry on to the beach and back - no designated beach area, no security, no f nothing. Service is just ridiculous. Untrained, inattentive, careless to say the least. Your check out - unless you have paid for a private ride, the bell boys don’t let your cab drive in the guest pick up area, so you need to take your bags down the street yourself - woo hoo - insane!!!
