Location is great and outdoor space is beautiful but hotel is below expectations. Rooms have been “remodeled” but that just means new paint and carpet. The bathroom is small and dated; hinges showing rust through multiple layers of paint, chipped/rusted drain in tub, walls and door jams with chips painted over. Staff is not welcoming, was actually asked to leave a table in the Splash bar because my husband walked up for a drink instead of waiting for a server we didn’t see. Front desk tries to give a double bed room when a king was reserved 7 months in advance. Putting up wallpaper and a fresh coat of paint is not going to keep up with the new builds going on across the street. Read less

We only stayed for 3 nights so didn’t really matter, but was not impressed with the room or the staff at this resort. We had breakfast a couple of times in the restaurant and it was nice. The pool and outdoor area was lovely. Position in Waikiki was perfect.

Reasonably priced given that everything in Hawaii is twice as expensive as on mainland. Enough seats in pool area and less "towel landgrab" than in Moana Surfrider. Like most Sheratons, hotel has not been maintained for 30 years, carpets are all worn out. Some rooms have been remodeed a bit but bathrooms are still from 1972 Wifi is crap Food is… Read more

Other than that, reasonable hotel if you don't care about those things. Read less

Great price and newly remodeled room! Love the new decor including refreshed hallway! Staff is amazing vibe exudes old school Honolulu. Note, west facing rooms pick up a lot of street noise, if you are a light sleeper, request East facing (overlooks pool).

She’s been the one to check me and my coworkers in on my last few stays. I love seeing her because she is always so positive and happy and really sets the tone for the stay. The rooms are always clean and I’ve never had any issues. It’s also pretty quiet so I’ve been able to get restful sleep - which is rare. I appreciate the water bottles provided on the desk and that the rooms have refrigerators and microwaves. My mom will sometime come to stay with me even though she lives on the island and enjoys that it’s like a mini vacation for her. The pool area just updated their towel system so you just have to scan your room keycard to get one. The pool is always pretty busy but it’s only a few minutes walk to get over to the beach. The ABC store is right across the street too, so you can pick up some snacks along the way. Read less
