The hotel

Set against the majestic Ko’olau Mountains and overlooking Waikiki Beach, this Sheraton hotel is a real slice of heaven. With sun, sea and sand on your doorstep, indulge in water sports, land sports, wining and dining or simply stake your place in the shade and relax. There are two incredible oceanfront pools: an infinity pool for the adults, a very serene place, or family-friendly Helumoa Pool where the kids can splash to their hearts content. If a spot of pampering appeals, head to Spa Khakara for a couples massage or an individual beauty treatment. Hungry? Kai Market serves farm-to-table fare that showcases the flavours of Hawaii perfectly. It also enjoys amazing views of Diamond Head and the Pacific – a treat for the eyes as well as the taste buds! Alternatively, Rum Fire is the sensuous new spot for tapas and cocktails – boasting the country’s largest selection of vintage rum and playing live island melodies each evening. The Edge of Waikiki lives up to its name – set on the beach, it’s the perfect spot to admire the sunset over a tropical thirst quencher.

This property is perfectly located on Waikiki Beach. Close to amazing food and shopping. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We were very happy with our stay. Everything was great except the water in the infinity pool was too cold for us. I guess it wasn’t heated and I guess May is a little too early to expect it to be warm . Great view from our balcony overlooking the pool.

We were there with our teen daughter and felt safe letting her wonder about the area solo, which she loved. The adult-only infiniti pool was fabulous- the view!!!! Rented a car for 1 day from Hertz (2 blocks away). And they conveniently had an after hours drop off in the adjacent parking garage which was convenient and saved us the parking fee. As people have noted, all the fees add up. But, the facility is immaculate, well located, and beautiful. We would definitely stay there again. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Resort Service Fees were an unexpected surprise

Nice staff. Great room. Fantastic view. Even received a credit on arrival. However, unfortunately, there were Resort Charges for each day we stayed which added up to a lot more that the credit we received (more than twice the amount). This was a very sad end to an otherwise very pleasant stay. Buyer be warned.
