Bonvoy Gold Elite member. Trip started off great as my room was ready for early check in. Unfortunately, when I saw my room, I was mortified. The couch and ottoman were noticeably ripped and there was someone else's food in the refrigerator! See pictures attached.

I complained and they switched me to another room and promised me bonus points.
Another negative is the odd smell in the lobby. They need to get it deep cleaned ASAP.
Despite the great location, I would not recommend staying here.

Best stay ever!! And i stayed in 10 hotels in NY. Steward and Adowa were the best for real!! They were so thoughtful and welcoming, If I ever stay again in NY I’ll definitely make sure to stay there at least 1 night. The room was very spacious, offered good amenities and the grab and go area offered a lot of options.

This hotel is dirty and gross. Filthy and the mattresses are poor quality. It’s a great location and that’s the only reason it got more than one star. Honestly marriott do better. I can’t believe this meets the standard. The mattresses should have been thrown out years ago. Can’t sleep. The views are great but the windows are filthy.

We originally were checked into a room which was very deficient in many ways. We spoke with Mimi, at the front desk, and she was very dedicated to finding us another room which was really nice.. My hats off to Millie for saving out getaway. She’s sn asset to the Marriott family of hotels
