The Staff was pleasant but the hotel needs to be upgraded. There are Chipped finishes and an Odd smell in theroom- the Cooling would not turn off. The TV was small and difficult to control. Not great for the price I paid - over 500 a night with taxes

The staff was wonderful. The hotel was clean and tidy. Only problems were the TV Spectrum reception and only two elevators. We were only two blocks from Herald Square subway station. Some really good restaurants in the neighborhood. Very helpful staff.

My sister and I stayed for a week. Our stay was fantastic! The location is perfect for walking to attractions and subway is a 4 minute walk. Nice comfy beds and hot breakfast every morning is a huge plus! When ever I return to NYC, this is the place I will stay again and recommend everyone!

We had an excellent stay at this hotel, the location was perfect as it was within walking distance of lots of attractions, bars, restaurants etc and Times Square was only a short walk away. We had an excellent stay at this hotel, the location was perfect as it was within walking distance of lots of attractions, bars, restaurants etc and Times Square was only a short walk away. There was also a subway station just round the corner. The hotel was clean and our room was spacious, we had a view overlooking some buildings and Summit One. The room had been decorated for my birthday with balloons and some drinks and sweets/treats which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was excellent, there was both hot food and things such as pastries, cereal and snack bars for grab and go or you could sit in if preferred. The staff were so friendly and always willing to help and offer advice on where to go and what to do etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel, it was lovely, the decor is just a bit tired and could do with a refurb. It would also be nice to have a fridge in the room as we often took drinks back but there was no way of keeping them cool. Read less
