Hotel Edison was an excellent home base for shows at three theaters and a concert at Madison Square Garden – all within walking distance. The family room was spacious by Manhattan standards and perfect for four adults.

Location of this hotel is excellent and so central to everything. Room was comfortable but after paying for an upgrade we did expect a larger room. I would have considered it basic. Showers were lovely but not a lot of hot water in the evenings. All the food in each restaurant is lovely and staff very friendly. Note the inclusive breakfast is grab and go only so if you wish to sit down there is a charge. Porter was so helpful and gave us lots of tips. Rooms were clean and hotel was clean and tidy all the time. Read less

No overall complaints except main restaurant the food was poor lasagne microwaved warmed , burger poor fries to salty

I'd recommend the hotel for its location, a stone's throw from Times Square, but the rooms lack comforts. The outside is very noisy and you can hear too much of it. Window to be replaced and the hotel would be top!

It also has a great restaurant right off of the lobby that serves really delicious gluten free pancakes. I would definitely stay at this hotel again! Read less
