I saw top shelf musicians in the lobby there last night. Vicki Burns on vocals, Paul Bollenback on guitar and Michael O’Brian on bass. What a treat! To hear musicians this great one would have to buy a ticket at a jazz club. There was no cover! I sat and enjoyed a glass of wine and listened to fabulous music. Thank you Lexington Hotel for this… Read more

The location is decent and the hotel is fine, but for an autograph collection property (and at this pricing) they need to step things up. The chair in my room was cracked and sticky. My shower was rusted and cracked. The room smelled musty. If this were a standard Marriott business hotel I would be fine with it, but this does not feel like a… Read more

I have been staying at the Lexington for years. This last stay was so bad, my team and I agreed it is time to find a new home base in NYC. We witnessed a horrific argument between the bellman and another front of house employee that involved screaming, every foul word under the sun, and threats, all while ignoring a line of patrons waiting to check bags. And yes, some children walked by. The following day, I walked into the lobby from the street, holding two Starbucks drink carriers with 8 drinks, and a bag of catering hanging from each arm. The same two men stood there, staring at me with their arms crossed, without any offer to help me open the door or acknowledgement that perhaps I might need assistance. We used to put up with the poor water pressure, tiny rooms, and lack of amenities because the employees were kind and made us feel welcome. Now this is simply an overpriced old hotel with two rude, angry, and threatening men standing at the front entrance. Read less

Pretty bad experience here yesterday. Older hotel which I realize. But it’s so loud with all the doors slamming in the halls. Wouldn’t be a huge issue if the rooms weren’t so tiny and directly on top of each other. You can hear everything through the walls. My room also smelled horrible. Pluses- the downstairs lobby bar is beautiful and had… Read more

Pros: Beautiful old hotel, helpful staff, great location, windows that open, nice bar, access to Crunch Fitness in the bldg., bag storage after checkout for $3/bag. Cons: My "queen" room had a double bed, not a queen. Mattress was a bit softer/squishier than most hotel beds. Lots of HVAC and plumbing noise, and sounds from adjacent rooms.… Read more
Pros: Beautiful old hotel, helpful staff, great location, windows that open, nice bar, access to Crunch Fitness in the bldg., bag storage after checkout for $3/bag. Cons: My "queen" room had a double bed, not a queen. Mattress was a bit softer/squishier than most hotel beds. Lots of HVAC and plumbing noise, and sounds from adjacent rooms. Things that are totally outside of the hotel's control: construction scaffolding everywhere! The whole facade of the hotel is just covered in it. Starbucks next to lobby was closed for renovation. FWIW: everyone hates hotel "resort" or "destination" fees. That said the $35/night destination fee is actually worth it here. It includes a $35 credit at the restaurant, which covers either one breakfast (which we did not have) or a couple of drinks (which we did). It includes access to Crunch Fitness, which if you exercise in hotels frequently you'll appreciate is a huge upgrade over the standard hotel fitness room. And it includes access to citibikes, which are parked right outside the front door. Read less
