Its a little pricey, but basically what I would expect in Midtown. You are close to alot of things and grand central station, so getting around is easy. The staff here was great, probably the best customer service I have had at a hotel in a long time! I would recommend staying here.

Nothing spectacular. The rooms were acceptable and clean. Reasonable price that’s about it don’t expect anything more. I was not aware of the resort fee until they told me at the desk. A facility fee where I didn’t know about any facilities. They have this gimmick where you get some kind of credit which you have no idea how to use. Something… Read more

It’s a major feet to get a bottle of water here even though they are prominently displayed in the lobby. I appreciate they held my luggage at check in and check out. Read less

Overall, a good stay. The hotel is fairly close to Grand Central Station and a reasonable walk to the subway station on 42nd Street. While rooms facing busy Lexington Ave. are likely noisy, interior rooms are very quiet, though a bit dark. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. For a NYC hotel, the room is large with a comfortable bed and very spacious closet. Furnishings were adequate though the large desk/dresser unit was rather beat up and probably should be replaced. The $39 facilities fee was included in the rate offered when booking the room so I was clear on what I would be charged making it easier to compare rates with other properties. Elevators are in high demand in the morning so it is necessary to plan ahead. Business center computers and printers did not work well during my stay. Typically I don't stay on the east side when in Manhattan but I would definitely be inclined to return in the future. Read less

It’s a very nice hotel. The room was very cold at night, with heat not available. Other than that, everything was perfect. Liked that there was a ramp alternative to the front steps. Housekeeping knocked even though I put sign on door. That was annoying.

This place is ridiculous. The rooms are nice yes, and the staff are mostly friendly. But do you want to be stuck in a warm room all day and night? They don’t tell you up front but their A/C system automatically shuts off randomly and you’re stuck in a warm room day and night. This is a regular occurrence with this hotel. Their explanation: we have… Read more

They don’t tell you up front but their A/C system automatically shuts off randomly and you’re stuck in a warm room day and night. This is a regular occurrence with this hotel. Their explanation: we have a very old pump system that automatically shuts off dependent on outside temperature. They refuse to put in a new A/C and heating system and would rather just upset their guests. They offered me “to open the windows or bring me a fan”. This is ridiculous for the amount of money that this hotel charges. Stay here if you want to be in a warm room all day and night. Read less
