Amazing stay at the heart of soho I found the location of this hotel to be incredible, situated right in the center of Soho. The bar, lounge, and night club are amazing. The drinks are fantastic as well. The rooms are very good, especially for being in Soho, offering plenty of space to store and place your belongings. Overall, it was an… Read more

I found my new home when I am in NYC. Lady made me feel special from the moment I arrived at the hotel and her warmth continued through out my visit. Whenever I saw her, she would go out of her way to say hello and ask about my day. And my room - well it was beautiful. Whenever I saw her, she would go out of her way to say hello and ask about my day. And my room - well it was beautiful. Admittedly, I stayed in the Terrace Suite and cannot wait to return during the summer and Fall so that I can sit out on the terrace with a glass of wine and my book. I had drinks a couple of times in the bar and again, the service, drinks and food were outstanding. I am so glad I found the Soho Grand and cannot wait to return. Read less

I get the speakeasy vibe but have mercy on those who want to check in and make it to their rooms without all the drama. As for the staff... The doormen, are too busy chatting it up to get the door most of the time. Whenever I stepped out and looked at my phone to find directions to new places, I was never asked if they could point me in the right direction. When I asked the concierge for a dinner recommendation he didn't ask anything other than meal type and then rattled off 6 places. There were no descriptions or questions about what category of dining I wanted, and he never offered to help with directions or reservations. Simply lazy! I felt like a hindrance and not a guest. I will not be back and will not be booking my team in your hotel again. Read less

Very poor service. Despite being out for four or five hours in the middle of the day, our room was not made up the last day of our four day stay. The floor of the room was very dirty always. When we asked for kleenex for the bathroom, in addition to new towels and coffee we never got the Kleenex, which wasn’t that big of a deal although we asked… Read more

When we asked for kleenex for the bathroom, in addition to new towels and coffee we never got the Kleenex, which wasn’t that big of a deal although we asked for it twice and never received it When we ordered room service from the restaurant, we never got napkins nor coffee cups for the coffee we ordered. One order of toast and a pot of coffee took 45 minutes to get. Read less

This hotel was incredible. Took a quick weekend trip to visit my old social circle, and my favorite band had actually stayed here a couple of years ago, so I thought I’d give it a go. The staff were absolutely delightful, attentive, and professional. I had seen some reviews about people being treated with indifference, but this wasn’t my experience in the slightest. Barrington greeted me at check-in and made sure all of my questions were kindly answered, and offered a glass of Prosecco to take up, which was very lovely. It pays dividends when folks take pride in their work, and he was a shining example. Everyone else I had encountered, from the bartenders, to the concierge, all seemed to hold themselves to the same high standard, and were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very spacious and well-lit (both artificially and naturally), and the bed was quite comfortable. Shower was clean, and climate control was easy to use. I’d always been a bit loyal to the Jane in the West Village, but I think I’ve found my new go-to. Read less
