Love the king size bed and the pillows are really soft and fluffy. The room was very spacious. Best location right beside the Grand Central terminal and walking distance from my office at Park Ave. and some sights to see - Chrysler Bldg., One Vanderbilt, 5th Street shops, St. Patrick's, Church, Times Square, etc.

We were disappointed in the Hyatt, which has always been the gold standard for us in Australia. Unfortunately, this has put us off staying in a Hyatt ever again, in any city, and may even have put us off booking through Luxury Escapes again, despite always having good experiences with them in the past.

Hello, our stay at the Hyatt Grand Central NY was very good except for a few things: 1. Cockroaches in the bathroom. Unforgivable. Fortunately, we only saw two, but we saw them on multiple nights. 2. Bad water pressure in the shower. And a terribly difficult water spigot to open. Dangerously so. 3. Ridiculously high prices in the on-site grocery store. The $15 credit for the DAILY $45 destination fee hardly makes up for paying $30 for two sparkling waters and a bag of chips. Other than that, all of the staff were wonderful, warm, and helpful at every turn - from the people at the reservation desk, live and on the phone, to the housekeeping staff, to the greeters, to the gentlemen who kept our bags for us. Great people, they made our stay more than pleasant. The rooms were mostly clean (pillows - not pillow cases - could use more frequent laundering). Centrally located, would more than likely stay here again. Read less
