I loved the Hyatt. The rooms were nice, clean, big, lots of shelf space. I had a nice west-facing view of the river. The breakfast was great (Hyatt Place breakfasts seem to be the best these days). I loved the Hyatt. The rooms were nice, clean, big, lots of shelf space. I had a nice west-facing view of the river. The breakfast was great (Hyatt Place breakfasts seem to be the best these days). Wifi and AC worked well. Staff were smily and helpful. There is nothing in the immediate area, but it's about 3 long blocks to the main Riverwalk area. It's a quiet area; there's a parking lot at the hotel for $20. The hotel is on a major street so it was easy to find. You can easily walk to the Alamo from the hotel. It's about a 15-minute drive to all the sights (missions, botanical garden, Japanese garden). I had no external or internal noise at all. I wish I'd stayed longer. Read less

This is probably the third Hyatt Place where we have stayed. Love them! This one did not disappoint. It is on the quiet part of the Riverwalk - just a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Easy, reasonably priced parking. We will definitely stay here again!

I was getting breakfast with my family and my pet, mind you this is my last day of 3 times being here for breakfast. I was told it was a pet friendly hotel and i can bring my pet to breakfast. So i did, for some reason my last day an hour before i am going to check out we were getting breakfast and out of no where we are told we cannot have our pet in the lobby and we needed to get her out of the lobby before the police come and escort us out. Mind you non of this is in the rules set forth by the hotel. I will assume this manager over stepped her boundaries and really needs to be fired for threating guest with being escorted by the police when we are not in violation of any rules set forth by the hotel. I would like to see her removed before should causes further harm to guest and your reputation and open you up to potential legal liability. Read less

I called the front desk and within 10 minutes a worker came to our room and fixed it. Consistently, every staff member was polite and caring, and made us feel welcome. The place was impeccably clean, including our room, the hallways, the elevator, etc. The breakfast had a great variety of foods to choose from and were very tasty. That area was clean and there was ample seating. As you walk out the back door of the hotel, the Riverwalk is right there. We were extremely pleased by having randomly chosen this hotel. And we lucked out to be there during Fiesta week. We will definitely return. Read less

We have stayed at this hotel for numerous years to attend the San Antonio Battle of Flowers parade the next day. Our experiences at this hotel has always been above top notch with the hotel condition, staff, and amenities over the top. We will be back again next year.
