Virgin Holidays launches new look 2007 Florida and Caribbean brochuresVirgin Holidays launches new look 2007 Florida and Caribbean brochures

10 May 2006

Now in its 21st year, Virgin Holidays is launching its 2007 Florida and Caribbean brochures with prices from just 349 for a weeks fly-drive in Florida and prices from as little as 479 per adult in Barbados. With the promise of the lowest prices guaranteed and thousands of reduced and free kids places the new bigger and better brochures are simply bursting with great holiday offers.

Virgin Holidays has responded to new laws that could see parents fined for taking children out of school during term time by making it easier for families to afford to go away during those key school holiday dates. Childrens prices to Orlando start from as little as 299 during Februarys half term and kids can travel to the Caribbean from just 269 during the Whitsun half term.

New for next year Virgin Holidays has introduced a weekly direct flight from Glasgow to Orlando during Scottish summer holidays and the October half term providing greater flexibility and choice for families. This is in addition to the scheduled flights from Gatwick and Manchester into Orlando International. There are also two new cruises offered in the Florida brochure making it the most comprehensive product range for the sunshine state giving customers the opportunity to see Key West, Cozumel and parts of South America. Popular demand has seen the Downtown Disney check-in continue for next year and a free meal is being offered at a choice of four restaurants in the Universal Citywalk complex, Orlando. Continuing its commitment to customer satisfaction Virgin Holidays is offering a lowest price guarantee on its holidays and on theme park tickets. Theres the added bonus of booking attraction park tickets at the same time as the holiday with no need to pay in full until the balance is due.

As the leading scheduled tour operator to the Caribbean, Virgin Holidays range of hotels and islands offers unparalleled choice for holidaymakers. To help customers choose which destination best suits their needs the Caribbean brochure has been updated with an introduction providing detailed information on each island and who it will appeal to. A wider selection of twin centres provides customers with even greater flexibility to tailor-make their itineraries. There are a number of special offers available including free room upgrades, free excursions and even free weddings at many resorts. Plus couples can save 200 on their holiday to Jamaica if they book by 30th November and 100 if they book by 30th September.

Commenting on the new brochures Managing Director of Virgin Holidays, Amanda Wills said: "Virgin Holidays prides itself on offering the widest choice and greatest flexibility on all our holidays, which is reflected in both brochures. We have continued to add more benefits for our customers this year by reducing child prices by up to 50% from last years Florida brochure price, reinforcing our position as the UKs leading scheduled tour operator to Florida."

Virgin Holidays is introducing a brand new range of private houses throughout Florida, alongside four new hotels in the beach resort of Daytona and two Caribbean cruise options to its Florida 2007 brochure. There is an even larger selection of the best hotels available to suit all budgets and a new cruise and stay option in Barbados with Windstar and Carnival Cruises. For customers seeking luxury and independence there are private villas available at the Royal Westmoreland, Barbados.

Free flights from Belfast to Gatwick and domestic flights from 25 to Gatwick from Glasgow and Newcastle on selected dates make it more convenient for customers to travel to Florida and the Caribbean with Virgin Holidays.

A weeks holiday to Orlando costs from just 349 per adult in January and February. Price includes scheduled flights with Virgin Atlantic from London Gatwick or Manchester to Orlando, 7 nights accommodation at Masters Inn, Kissimmee including continental breakfast and car hire.

A weeks holiday to Barbados costs from just 479 per adult in September. Price includes scheduled flights with Virgin Atlantic from London Gatwick or Manchester to Barbados, 7 nights accommodation at Silver Sands on a room only basis and transfers.
