Unbelievable experience! Perfect location for hiking and lake activities. Most beautiful scenery. Don’t miss the sunrise canoe and the cold plunge. Borrow hiking equipment from the concierge and hike some of the most beautiful trails.

The staff was helpful and cooperative. Our room was nice but far from activities. The bed linens and towels were nice. Food was good and served in a timely manner. The Fitness Center was underwhelming so it makes sense they are updating the pool and fitness areas.

We spent two nights at this fabulous hotel to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The setting is incredibly picturesque and stunning. While the lake can be very busy during the day with visitors, hotel guests can enjoy a quieter experience early morning and after the day trippers have left. The hotel also does an admirable job of restricting terrace and garden areas for guests. On a sunny day it is magical to sit in the gardens, sip a cocktail and view the magnificent scenery. Each staff member we encountered from check in to check out was welcoming, professional and helpful. We very much appreciated the recognition of our anniversary at the restaurant we ate dinner and the treats left in our room. While our room (827) was small it was more than adequate and comfortably furnished with a lovely view of the lake. We were on the side of the hotel where the spa is being constructed but it really wasn’t bothersome at all and did not obstruct the view. I’m sure it’ll be spectacular when completed. While the rooms are pricey, I’d highly recommend a lake view room as it’s breathtaking to see such scenery from your bedroom. We ate dinner at the Lakeview Lounge and the Walliser Stube. Both were very good and the service was impeccable. This is such a special place to stay that I know we will return in the very near future. Read less

One of the most beautiful locations I’ve ever stayed in. Stayed two nights and actually there isn’t much to do but enjoy the downtime to enjoy the view as it changes quickly due to clouds. Rooms are very comfortable. Eat at the Grab and Go for a less expensive choice for food. They offer 25% discount if you stay at the Hotel.
