Everyone knows ‘waterfall views’ top the hotel wish list for every Niagara visitor. And that’s exactly what Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview Hotel & Suites delivers. In fact, TripAdvisor voted it in the Top 10 Hotel Rooms Views in the World. But it’s The Watermark Restaurant on the 33rd floor that really provides the photo ops: with its multi-level seating and floor-to-ceiling windows forcing the farm-to-fork menu to take second stage. One floor up and the rooftop Myst Lounge throws in extra selfie spots — and cocktails. Once you’ve had your fill of the falls, you can head to the adjoining Fallsview Casino; the hotel’s chill-out pool with its spiralling waterslide, hot tub, and sauna; or its other dining venues, from an all-you-can eat Brazilian ‘churrascaria’ steakhouse to an all-you-can-eat Southern-style barbecue smokehouse.

Don't expect to sleep in on check-out day.

I'll start with the good things. The bedroom part of the room was quite nice. Linens clean and fresh, mattresses comfortable. Good quality blackout drapes. The bathroom was ok, but the shower was very small and the toilet was old and didn't function properly (we had to take the lid off and fiddle with the chain in the tank to get it to flush.)…

I'll start with the good things. The bedroom part of the room was quite nice. Linens clean and fresh, mattresses comfortable. Good quality blackout drapes. The bathroom was ok, but the shower was very small and the toilet was old and didn't function properly (we had to take the lid off and fiddle with the chain in the tank to get it to flush.) They also must have moisture problems, because I was greeted by a silverfish upon check-in. (At least it wasn't a cockroach.)
The lobby was quite uninviting with very bright fluorescent lights. We were in a large queue, as it's a busy hotel. I felt that they could do more to make it a more pleasant experience while you wait for the very impersonal check-in. We did love that the hotel is connected to the OLG Stage (we were in town to see a show) as well as restaurants and shops (and the casino, if that's your thing!)
I could get over the little nitpicky things that I mentioned above, but the event that caused a lower score happened in the morning. We woke up to a slip under the door with our receipt, which is totally fine and quite typical. We had been out late the night before, so we both decided to go back to bed for a bit, since we RARELY get to sleep in in our day-to-day lives. At about 9am, there was a loud pounding at the door. Before I even got to the door (in a t-shirt and underwear, no bra, i might add,) a male member of staff entered the room and said "oh, you didn't answer so I thought you were gone. When are you checking out?" I thought we had misunderstood checkout time, but he confirmed that it was indeed 11, so we told him that we'd be out by then and he left. I texted the help number about what I thought was an unusual situation and they said it was their protocol to see if people had left their rooms. No. We have paid for this room until 11am, so we should not be disturbed before then. I've stayed in a lot of hotels in my life and never, ever have I been disturbed in the morning of check out. Not even in the other hilton property we stayed in last week. Anyway, by then we were already woken up, so we just got ready and left with a bad taste in our mouths.

We had booked at the Oakes but they had water issues and moved us to the Hilton. Wonderful time, exceptional staff, amenities and a plus being attached to the OLG and casino, never had to leave which was great for me as a person living with MS. Will definitely return!

Was traveling with by myself with two little kids. Arrived on a Friday night. Pulled in and was told to check in unload all our stuff then come back (with kids in tow) and park the car a mile away and take a shuttle bus back…..this is a four star hotel with no parking in the hotel and no valet. The front desk was rude, no one helped with our bags and the room was disgustingly dirty. Stains and hair all over the carpet and 1/2 and inch of dirt and hair on the a/c vents. I immediately requested the room be cleaned and no one came, I called again the next day - housekeeping and the front desk. I was told it would be addressed and it never was. My son broke out into a rash while we were staying there and started coughing, can’t help thinking it was related to how dirty the room was. The TV also didn’t work and the food was bad and overpriced. The only nice thing was the view of the falls. Stay elsewhere
