Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview Hotel & Suites

The hotel

Everyone knows ‘waterfall views’ top the hotel wish list for every Niagara visitor. And that’s exactly what Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview Hotel & Suites delivers. In fact, TripAdvisor voted it in the Top 10 Hotel Rooms Views in the World. But it’s The Watermark Restaurant on the 33rd floor that really provides the photo ops: with its multi-level seating and floor-to-ceiling windows forcing the farm-to-fork menu to take second stage. One floor up and the rooftop Myst Lounge throws in extra selfie spots — and cocktails. Once you’ve had your fill of the falls, you can head to the adjoining Fallsview Casino; the hotel’s chill-out pool with its spiralling waterslide, hot tub, and sauna; or its other dining venues, from an all-you-can eat Brazilian ‘churrascaria’ steakhouse to an all-you-can-eat Southern-style barbecue smokehouse.

Where to Begin?! I booked 3 nights stay in a room with a view of the Falls with a jacuzzi tub. The room I got looked NOTHING like the beautiful pictures on their website. In the first room the Jacuzzi only had scalding hot water and if you turned the taps on all the way the tap stopped completely and the water only came out of the shower spout. The chair was filthy as was the glass between the bathroom and the sleeping area, and the bathroom fan didn't work. In addition, every time we came back to the room our key cards did not work. We called to have security come up but 2 calls and 20 minutes later I decided to go down to the front desk to have them reset myself. We asked to be moved. The second room also had a filthy chair but the jacuzzi tub worked well....until I came into the bedroom area to find that the tub had leaked and soaked the carpet. Our key cards did not work when we returned to the room again. We asked to be moved AGAIN. The third room was...DISGUSTING!! Another filthy chair...and this time the surfaces of the furniture were all damaged (see pics), but at least the tub worked. And once again after a late night enjoying Clifton Hill attractions we returned to our room, exhausted and in pain from all the walking to find that our room key one again - DID NOT WORK. I could hardly walk at this point and had to return down 34 flights to the lobby to get my cards reset. They advised that I could have called and security would have come up to us...but after the first night I didn't want to wait on that again. At this point I was furious and all they offered was a $75 voucher for any hotel service and comped my parking. The towels were stiff and scratchy and for $500+ a night you would think they could provide a housecoat! It was the absolute worst stay at a hotel I have ever had!!! The only part I enjoyed was the wonderful shuttle drivers who were friendly and even gave us a parking pass to a much closer lot than the one we had! That's the only reason for the one star, other wise I would give none. We spoke to several other guests who also had to move rooms and shared their nightmare stay with us as well, with the exception of one guest who said they booked the cheapest room and were upgraded to a conjoined room free of charge. They stayed the entire weekend in 2 rooms for less than the cost of one night in my crappy room. Even the note on the water bottles was offensive: Hey Premium members - this water is free but the rest of you have to pay $5. Its like giving a gift to someone in front of someone else. Its just rude to do. Read less

I’ve booked this hotel each time I’ve visited Niagara Falls and have had no issues whatsoever. The location is great — it’s within walking distance to the Falls or a short drive if you don’t like walking a steep hill. Self-parking is easy but could be a bit pricey. The location is great — it’s within walking distance to the Falls or a short drive if you don’t like walking a steep hill. Self-parking is easy but could be a bit pricey. The view from the room is amazing but only of the US Falls. I wouldn’t recommend booking a room with a view of the Horseshoe Falls because the view isn’t that great unless you’re near the roof, probably, otherwise it’s just a view of a neighboring hotel and/or the mist coming from the Falls themselves. Brasa and Corso are amazing restaurants, there’s an ice cream shop and Starbucks in the lobby as well as a little convenience store that’s open very late for any last minute snacks, Advil, wipes, etc. and cool little fire pits to sit around outside. Horrible. Went to Niagara with daughter, son and his friend. Hotel was a disaster. Beautiful lobby, until you reached the room. Bedding was damp. Floor was damp. Mold in corners. Creamers were expired. Nonetheless didn’t enjoy a coffee in the morning. Place needs updating badly. Hotel only gave me 50.00 credit towards bill but yet parking was over… Read more

We stayed on the 47th floor with a view of the US falls. We could see the Friday night fireworks and the light show from the comfort of our own room. Nice to not fight crowds. Very dated with some tears in the rug and couch. 2 out of 3 lamps didn't work and the refrigerator froze our drinks. One even exploded so just be careful if you use it. Staff was fantastic and the spyce lounge downstairs was excellent! Parking was pricey and the spots were tight! Read less

Very poorly operated and is not worth the money I waited more than hour last night for someone to come and fix the shower. No one showed up until 12 mid night as they said they are short of staff. We had to go to gym to take a shower ! Mohit the receptionist says there is no manager in the hotel. For parking is a chaos as well. Everything operated… Read more

We had to go to gym to take a shower ! Mohit the receptionist says there is no manager in the hotel. For parking is a chaos as well. Everything operated separately and it is totally a chaos. For a hotel that charges 850$ per night, this is a disaster. They do not provide anything to you unless you ask. They do not have bath robes( again the price is so high that doesn’t make sense) The view of the room was good and the hotel is clean but probably you can get better service and much cheaper in the adjacent hotels. No breakfast included The pools are overrated. I won’t come back Read less
