If you're on the hunt for Antigua's best beaches, head straight for the west and southwest coasts... that’s where the real magic happens. The Northwest Coast, which is closer to St. John’s and resorts, is great if you love lively beaches with a social vibe.

Antigua is known for its warm hospitality, laid-back lifestyle, and welcoming locals. Like anywhere in the world, it's smart to travel with awareness, but the overall vibe here? Safe, sunny, and seriously chill.

Getting around Antigua is all part of the island adventure and luckily, there are plenty of easy, scenic, and fun ways to explore. Taxis are widely available across the island, especially around hotels, airports, and major beaches. Explore Nelson’s Dockyard, a UNESCO World Heritage site, or hike to Shirley Heights for stunning views and a sunset party. For shopping, head to St. John’s for local arts and souvenirs.

The best time to visit Antigua is between December-April, this is the island's dry season, when the weather is sunny, warm, and perfect for beach days and outdoor adventures.
