My boyfriend and I had the most incredible stay at Calabash Grenada. As a travel advisor who's visited close to 90 resorts across the Caribbean and beyond, it's not easy to completely wow me… but Calabash did just that. From the warm welcome from the owner and staff at check-in to the heartfelt goodbye, every moment felt personal and thoughtful. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we stepped into our own little piece of paradise! The entire property is so peaceful and serene -- we took a morning yoga class that left us feeling totally refreshed. Waking up to the sounds of birds and nature each morning was everything. The gardens are beautiful, the pool is gorgeous, and every corner feels like your own private hideaway. THE FOOD… absolutely delicious! Every meal was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The team was so kind and attentive, we felt genuinely taken care of. Big shoutout to George, Abagail, and Sherlyn for going above and beyond. Abagail’s warm smile and sweet compliments always made our day, and George’s cocktails tasted so perfect. I gave him the vaguest request vodka, slightly sweet, with a kick and he nailed it every time. I even had a little personal emergency during our stay, and Racquel, Kara, and Kaiya truly came through. One of them left the hotel to make sure I got exactly what I needed. That kind of care is rare and meant the world to me. And when my boyfriend wasn’t feeling well one evening, George quickly mixed a comforting non-alcoholic drink with local Grenadian spices—and within 20 minutes, he was feeling so much better. The energy, the attention to detail, the warmth, it’s no wonder that on the day of check-out, we couldn’t bring ourselves to leave. So, we changed our flights and extended our stay. That’s how magical Calabash is. I’ll be recommending this gem to all of my clients, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Read less

Just back from a superb 10 days at this wonderful, relaxing hotel. We stayed on a bed & breakfast basis in a junior suite. The suite was well appointed with plenty of storage and a huge bathroom/shower room. Housekeeping was excellent with some nice little touches; the turn down service & towel art for my husband’s birthday. The hotel is in a lovely garden setting but also with the beach in view. We did the tour with head gardener Terence & Shakeem which was very interesting. It took us up the hill & we had a wonderful view of the hotel and bay. The original plan was to eat out a few times but we ended up doing that only once!!! The food in both restaurants was excellent; we did find the Thursday night menu in the Beach Club a bit limited for our palate. Breakfast on the balcony was a lovely service and worked well if you were going on a trip. Overall the staff were outstanding; friendly, helpful and made us feel very much at home. Particular praise for Abigail, George, Miguel, Sherilyn, Melissa and Elle. On the hotel website there is a pre arrival form. I would recommend filling that out even if you haven’t booked direct with the hotel. We hope to return again. Read less

We spent 6 days at the Calabash and cannot say enough good things about the property, people and our experience. We traveled with a 5 and 4 year old, which is not the norm for this hotel that usually does not allow young kids outside of holidays. However, the hotel went above and beyond in terms of being thoughtful about what a family with young kids would need. We always had earlier meals, earlier turndown, babysitting and the tennis coach even gave a lesson to our kids, which I am sure he rarely ever has kids of that age. I could mention every staff member, but Adele (one of owners), Danique (originally booked our reservation), Stevens (guest experience), George (nighttime bar), Kareem/Vaughn (beach and pool club) were a few of the many who made our trip memorable. Our holiday trip was seamless both on property and with the off-property excursions the hotel booked. Every detail was thought out. Huge thank you to the Calabash Hotel and family. Read less

I'm not sure where to start, as my trip has been the most amazing restful experience. Originally I was due to visit in 2023 & the hotel team understood my predicament, facilitating my visit in 2024. That did not quite work out either, due to ongoing commitments, yet I finally arrived this month. Every member of the team made me feel most welcome, and for that I say 'thank you' to all of you. My room, room 8 was spacious, comfortable and 'just perfect'. Visiting a fortnight before Christmas / Chanukah meant the hotel was not busy. I felt undisturbed on the beach, and managed to read 4 books in 5 days which is so unlike me. Kareem, Betty Ann, Abigail, Dennis, Michael, George, Elle, Danique, Racquel .. I look forward to my return. Thank you ALL, for caring for me .. it's appreciated. Read less
