    Our son recently got married at this resort. We highly recommend visiting Secrets Maroma! The entire resort is beautifully kept and maintained. The service is impeccable and the food was delicious. They offered many activities that were well planned and fun!! We will definitely be going back!

    Had a wonderful time. Food and drinks were very good. Lots of gluten free options. The pool is beautiful. Beach is very nice and well maintained. Service was excellent. Everyone from concierge to bartenders were very nice and helpful. Location is convenient for excursions. We had a great time and would definitely come back.

    This was an amazing all inclusive experience! I loved our room with the bathroom having a view out to the ocean, the bed was SO comfortable, and the staff was seriously outstanding! I wish I had more of their names to write, but two I remember are Yadira at Coco Cafe, who was so sweet and hospitable, and Andres at the swim up bar, who was hilarious and gave great service and made everyone feel welcome - he was able to put a smile on anyone’s face with his humor! I felt having a nice beach was important, and the beach area in front of the resort had clean and fine white sand, a great swimming area, and any seaweed that washed on shore was attended to by the beach staff as quickly as they could. I was really impressed with the entertainment as well. We went to quite a few of the shows in the theater, and they really put on a great show that was super entertaining. You could order drinks throughout it, and the performers had true talent and did things I hadn’t seen before. I’d say the whole resort had a really great vibe, beautiful and well maintained grounds, and attracted fun and pleasant clientele. We enjoyed the entertainment in the lobby bar many nights before or after our dinners. The food at every restaurant we tried was great and provided a good variety of choices. The coffee shop open 24 hours was great. I’d definitely go back and recommend it to anyone. The staff every single place we went in the resort really helped make our stay wonderful. Read less

    I travel a lot to Mexico and the Caribbean, and this was one of the nicest places I've stayed. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. From the moment you walk into their beautiful lobby (which smells amazing by the way) you know you are in paradise. Once you step outside, you truly know you're in paradise. Aesthetically, this hotel is beautiful. They way they designed everything, and just the path to get around is so beautiful. I loved how they have music piped in, so when you are walking you hear peaceful music and birds chirping. I also love all the little water paths on the ground, and the "love heart" is great to take a picture by. The pools are great, and we especially loved the infinity pool that overlooked the ocean. One thing that was so awesome is they have live music by the pool during the day. On one of the days they had someone playing the harp and on another day a saxophone. The person went on a boat through the pool; it was so awesome. On another day there was an awesome electric guitar player. You got to enjoy lunch with some entertainment. Speaking of entertainment, the shows were amazing!! Be sure not to miss them. Make sure you go to dinner and get done in time to attend the nightly shows. They are not to be missed. They are not cheesy like some other hotels.​ After the shows end, they have live music and singers in the lobby. The rooms are beautiful. Really nice decor and all updated/modern. The service was amazing throughout our whole stay. They had a concierge service that came around the pool to clean your sunglasses, give you cold water, and a cold rag. The only thing I was slightly disappointed with was the food. I've had better at other resorts, so I did expect it to be better. But honestly, the place is so amazing, I was able to look past that. I did like that you can order lunch straight to your beach chair by the pool. Some restaurants are better than others. Lunch was good for the most part. *Please note that I traveled there in July-Aug. of 2021, but I realized I never posted a review. Read less
