    448 rooms, suites and villas. All with curated custom designed furniture and local art pieces, terrace with lounging area, 55" TV, WiFi access, Bluetooth sound system, conveniently located USB charging stations, free calls to the continental U.S. and Canada, in-room mini-bar (stocked with soda, beer and bottled water), Nespresso™ coffee machine, bathroom with sliding door and sliding window, single rain showers with hand shower, separate shower and WC, double sinks, flat iron, hairdryer, custom bathrobes and slippers, aromatherapy and pillow menu, custom scent amenities, locally sourced soaps, and 24-hour room service. You also benefit from a local host to assist with everyday needs. Alcoba Rooms offer tropical or pool views, and are located close to the lobby. With an outdoor hydro spa tub, and either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

    All Inclusive of: all meals, snacks and beverages, as well as access to the fitness centre with visiting instructor programme, daily and nightly events, and all sports and activities unless otherwise stated. 

    Room upgrades

    Alcoba Ocean View Rooms offer views of the ocean from the private terrace, an outdoor hydro tub, and either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

    Alcoba Swim-Up Pool Rooms feature direct pool access from the balcony and elevated lounge chairs, with 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

    Alcoba Ocean Front Rooms feature panoramic views of the ocean from the outdoor hydro spa tub and lounging area, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

    Estancia Suites offer tropical views with a hydro spa tub on the terrace as well as the bathroom, separate living area, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

    Estancia 1-Bedroom Suites feature a large living room, ocean views from the terrace, outdoor hydro tub, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

    Estancia 2-Bedroom Suites are as above, with the addition of a second bedroom with 2 queen-size beds and a second outdoor hydro tub, sleeping maximum 6 adults.

    Guests staying in the Mexican state Quintana Roo are required to pay a travel tax of $11 per adult (over 15 years old). The payment can be made prior to travel, upon arrival or during your stay, as the tax will be imposed upon departure. There is also an additional Environmental Sanitation Tax of $4.25 USD per room, per night that will be added to your hotel bill (payable locally, subject to change).

The check-in process was great, the shared transportation was easy and being able to hang out with a drink while waiting for our room was awesome. The hotel is so clean, friendly, and easy to navigate. We were surprise upgraded to a swim up room! Our room was mostly ready, but the tablet was broken. I loved that they gave us the option to still go to our room and have them fix the tablet later. The room had a little bit of a musty smell and the chairs were stained but honestly didn’t bother us because it was still clean. I loved that they have a quiet pool and a party pool! And while they are close together, somehow they built it where the sounds don’t really travel. Our room was close to the pool and yet I could hear the waves instead of the pool. I also met Victoria the hawk who works as pest control and she did a great job! Seriously, not a fly or mosquito in sight. All of the workers are SO FRIENDLY and really take time to get to know you. We have uncommon food allergies (allium allergy and peppers allergy) and every single restaurant went ABOVE and beyond to make sure we could still eat an amazing meal. I had the most perfect potatoes in the Mexican restaurant. The chef even came out to make sure we were happy. Even poolside they took our allergies seriously. Not once did we feel like a burden. Our concierge was there to help with anything we need and she was so kind! It was really nice to have an assigned human I could text, it took a lot of pressure off and made me more relaxed. Thank you, Maria! I brought a stuffed animal with me and housekeeping and turn down service put him in cute places each day. We looked forward to it. The spa was DIVINE. Do not pass up a chance to do at least a massage. Seriously!!! The seaweed wasn’t raked so we didn’t spend much time on the beach, but ultimately didn’t need to. We didn’t engage in the activities because we were more focused on relaxing and eating. The house cocktails are super watered down, but if you ask for a shot or a cocktail not on the menu, you’ll get a normal amount of alcohol. Overall, I’m so happy I went!     We have absolutely loved our stay here at Unico! But Eugenio the pool waiter was absolutely fabulous! He truly went above and beyond to make sure we always had cold bottled water, had a delicious drink in hand or food. Eugenio really made our stay a 10/10! Would come back just to see him!
