When you arrive at the Six Senses Samui the view is at once exhilarating and strangely familiar. The sweeping vista of palm-clustered islands and shimmering seas brings to mind all the fantasies we have of the Orient's beaches. The resort is made up of a stunning collection of bamboo-clad villas looking out over the Gulf of Thailand. At Six Senses there are only villas, most with a private swimming pool with polished wooden floor interiors. Following the renovation, all villas are fully enclosed and air-conditioned so there are no "open-air spaces" as such and the bathroom and bedroom have a sliding door that separates them. The restaurants and bars are open pavilions, deriving their aesthetic from the communal longhouses of traditional river communities. The view, the architecture, the style and even the temperature intentionally immerse the guest in the location. This is back to nature – without a hint of roughing it. Six Senses Samui gives you everything, including a comprehensive spa that offers every conceivable treatment in Asia.

We have been treated very nicely by the spa team especially Khun Koy she is a wonderful person with great personality and service and Khun Gift tooo a lot of thanks for all of their hard work and supporting us through the hard times of my bf experience thank you for understanding our feelings 🥹🙏🏻 and our favorite spot in the hotel is the restaurant where we are always there for our meals with a wonderful taste of Thai food such as Stir fried Chicken with cashew nuts. Chef did a very great job of making our food taste amazing and for the last night I ordered Lobster for the starter and suddenly felt so weird about the Lobster as I had never been sick of it like that before I am a seafood lover but I couldn’t finish the whole dish even though it was a tiny dish.after that I went directly into the bathroom when the restaurant about to close the staff lady was there for me she helped me a lot and brought me a water and cool towel I really appreciate that a lot🙏🏻 ❤️ she stayed with me until I finally got better and they wasn’t charged for the meal (I am so sorry I couldn’t remember her name because I wasn’t in a good condition🤢) I would love to say thank you for all the staff who are doing an incredible service🙏🏻🙏🏻 including the people who are working behind the scene such as house keepers and engineers and gardeners who have been working really hard for our best experience in Samui.🥰🩵🩵🩵🩵 Read less

Fabulous sensory experience - just had 8 amazing nights at Six Senses Samui. Everything was great, room, food, staff and the resort. Nothing was too much trouble. Maya our resort representative was just great, she made our whole trip a delight.

The location is fabulous and the rooms when new were probably magnificent. There has been no investment in maintaining the property. Furniture is worn. Wind screens at the restaurant are broken. Staff uniforms are old and faded. Pictures on the website do not reflect the decrepitude of the resort. To add insult to injury - drinks are outrageously expensive. Breakfast was nice but dinner was horrible. My chicken curry was literally a dried out check breast with some Sysco curry sauce on the side and a frozen hush puppy. No thai person could have prepared the meal; they probably are employing out of work college back packers in the kitchen. We forsook our deposit after on night and ran to the Four Seasons. Stay away! Very secluded which is exactly what we were looking for pure relaxation and serenity. The staff and service is excellent and special thanks to Maya who did her best to look after us. We didn’t leave the hotel once as we just loved it so much! The food is also great and so much choice available. One of the infinity pools is one of the best I’ve seen. I’ve stayed in some top hotels around the world and this is definitely up there with the best. Oh and you have to visit the farm onsite, they have the friendliest goats ever! Look forward to trying more Six Senses resorts in the future. Read less
