The hotel

In a secluded bay, overlooking a beach regarded as the most beautiful on Phuket, this is certainly an idyllic holiday choice. Soft golden sand to glide along, sunsets to admire, and, of course, beautiful accommodation, ranging from Junior Suites to those set back amongst trees and tropical flowers. Hotel information

518 rooms and suites are spread throughout the Bhuri Wing and Thani Wing. The Bhuri Wing is home to the 183 Deluxe Rooms and has its own lobby and pools. The Thani Wing is situated along the beachfront and all suites are in this wing and face towards the ocean. All rooms and suites have air-conditioning, LCD TV, IDD telephone, mini-fridge*, tea/coffee-making facilities, safe and hairdryer.

Deluxe Rooms are located in the Bhuri Wing and have a private balcony overlooking the pool with 1 king-size bed or 2 twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Grand Deluxe Rooms are also located in the Bhuri Wing and are ideal for families. Rooms feature a large balcony or terrace and a sliding door to separate the bedrooms.

174 spacious Junior Suites are located in the Thani Wing and have balconies or a terrace with an ocean view, overlooking the swimming pools and gardens.

The Oceanfront Junior Suites are in the Thani Wing close to the beach and have sublime sea views.

Grand Suites are in the Thani Wing and are well appointed in the Ocean Building with separate living room and bathroom with luxurious oversized bathtub.

All suites have 1 king-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Daily shuttle service* to Patong and Phuket town (advanced reservation is required).

Currently staying here on our honeymoon. We decided on this hotel for our seconded week in Thailand. Whilst the hotel is very clean and the rooms are great that’s about all of the positives I can say about it. Our first hotel really pulled out all the stops for us as a honeymoon couple, really made us feel special, this hotel did almost nothing (a stale cake in our room upon arrival) The checking in process was so chaotic and quite unpleasant. The food here doesn’t go anywhere near being a 5* hotel, the breakfast buffet that was included was terrible, It was total chaos and completely unorganised. Every morning our group of 4 had to wait for a table, when we finally got one the food was bland and extremely uninspiring. Food was very slow to be replenished. We ate once in the evening at the hotel for what they described as a “BBQ Buffet” evening 800thb pp. Food, as like breakfast was really poor. 80% of the choices catered for Chinese guests, the rest of the options dry and flavourless. We were given a free meal voucher at check in and haven’t bothered to use it. The beach was immaculate and the pool area was good, however the “Quiet Pool” was overran with kids, ball games, there were 5 other pool options to do this in and no staff around to police this. We requested a late checkout 6 months prior to arrival, today I’ve been informed we can only keep one room, and to top it off we need to pay 4,200THB for 4 hrs. Service on the whole across the hotel really doesn’t match the 5* rating at all. If it wasn’t our honeymoon I may have scored it slightly higher but I certainly wouldn’t return. Overwhelmingly disappointed with the hotel. Read less

One of the worst experience in my lifetime. Me and my family didn't enjoy and decided to leave the hotel after 1 night. Waste of time and money. The hotel management are way below the experince to deal with a simple problem and they truly need to learn customer experience

The location and hotel is great. Right on the beach. The rooms were beautiful and clean Most of the staff were great but some around the pool needed some customer service training. The breakfast room was always very chaotic and food was always running out. Hygiene of the food could have been better We had the advertised buffet on our first night. It was supposed to be Thai and Asian but the food was not to the standard of the hotel rating and there was no Thai food which was disappointing Such a shame as the hotel is beautiful Read less

We came here the year after the tsunami to show support and what a different place it was then.It was awesome.Main building along the beach was all that existed and so so different to the market it wants to attract by the masses now(luxury escapes ect) We have returned 6 times since then and every time cost cutting measures have been put in place! Gone are the manned towel counter by the pool - gone are the hardwood sun beds replaced with cheap lightweight aluminium ones. In the quiet pool today with 4 very noisy kids and the parents,supposed to be a quiet area but was quite the opposite again no staff to police this. The breakfast is poor with cheap meats and an overworked egg station that can’t cope!No bread at all today for toast.No staff walking around offering tea or coffee. Minibar in room empty so again cost cutting - no stock to pay for and not having to pay for someone to refill the minibar 5star hotel with no minbar,really! What happened to turndown? Nice touch used to be the towels folded into animals but again takes time so that has gone! We have used the tub in the bathroom for the last 2 days and it remains dirty. Positives: nice refurbished room Good staff . Great view. Sorry Katathani but I will not be returning nor recommending you to friends many which have took my advice and stayed in your hotel. I have travelled all over the in many 5 star resorts and this was once one of best but not anymore! You are at best a 3 star establishment with 5 Star prices! Read less

Food was good, we were on the full board package and it was actually too much food with a buffet breakfast then set menu for lunch and dinner every day. Cocktail hour was great, rooms were exceptionally clean, great shower and comfy beds. 6 restaurants to choose from on site however you need to catch the buggy from the southern lobby of the resort as most of the restaurants are at the northern lobby. Would def recommend! Read less
