In a secluded bay, overlooking a beach regarded as the most beautiful on Phuket, this is certainly an idyllic holiday choice. Soft golden sand to glide along, sunsets to admire, and, of course, beautiful accommodation, ranging from Junior Suites to those set back amongst trees and tropical flowers. Pampering pursuits include a full-service spa and a beauty salon, ensuring you look and feel your best. As well as lots of sports activities you can get involved in more cultural endeavours, take a Thai cooking class and learn how to carve those fancy fruit decorations or enjoy a workout whilst learning the art of Thai boxing. Finally, a word about those restaurants, there are several to choose from, serving Thai and Western delights for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There’s also La Scala for Italian cuisine and light music, plus several beach bars for an enticing tropical cocktail!

From the moment we arrived and till we left we had the most amazing time. We travelled with our 3 children aged 16, 14 and 8 and we had 2 interconnecting Junior Suites with ocean views. The suites were spacious, the beds were comfy, the air conditioner worked well and rooms were always cool. The bonus of having 2 bathrooms worked well with 2 teenage daughters. The resort offered plenty of food and restaurant options, the kids loved the pizzas from the The Cove Bistro and the breakfast buffet provided a great variety of options. Happy hour was from 530pm-7pm at 2 different bars which offered 2 for 1 drinks. The other restaurants offered a variety of food to suit various tastes and budgets. We had pool and ocean views from our suites and although we were on the ground floor we did not have any noise from the pool areas. The resort offers 6 different pools and kids splash zone to choose from, plus the water temp at the beach was sensational. They also offer garden massages where you can have a massage whilst relaxing by the pool or on the grass. These are simply amazing and so relaxing. All the staff at Katathani are friendly and helpful. They go out of there way to make your holiday the best it can be. This is our fourth time coming back to Katathani and it won't be our last... Wow what a wonderful 10 days we had at this wonderful resort we could not fault it .We actually stayed in the Bhuri wing I was a little sceptical at first after reading some of the reviews but everting was perfect, firstly I want to give Joan a very big thank you and everyone of the staff who were so happy polite and extremely helpful it’s so nice to wake up each morning stroll down for breakfast to be meet with lovely big smiles .We were b/b board and the breakfast was absolutely lovely. The hotel is ideally located, outside you can grab a tuk tuk or taxi make sure you barter with the price or download the bolt app . Outside there are a number of little restaurants and shops especially 7/11 we tried all these and were all lovely and extremely cheap .We also did a couple of the trips phi phi was our favourite it was amazing and well worth the money . I would definitely recommend this hotel for all age types as there was something for everyone and is great if you are less mobile Read less

What a fantastic experience at the Katathani. We travelled with our 14 month old in April 2025. I am struggling to find a fault with the place at the price point paid. It’s clean, breakfast was outstanding, the staff were unfailingly polite and helpful. There are a number of pools on the resort, I think one is adult only and the rest had provision for kids. Food was excellent. There are lots of ladies around offering massages, all at decent rates, about 500 baht or just over a tenner for an hour. Great value. The beach is lovely and lots of room on there. We are already looking forward to going back! Quick tip: beer is slightly expensive from the pool bars, however the rosette has shops attached that sell beer a lot cheaper and they don’t seem to have a problem with you bringing that in and around the pool if you so wish.
