Florida is famous for its sunshine – and it definitely lives up to the name The Sunshine State. Whether you're dreaming of lazy beach days in Miami or magical moments in Orlando, you can expect warm weather pretty much all year round.

The hottest time is June to August. Things heat up with temperatures soaring to 30–35°C (86–95°F). Afternoon showers are common, but they usually pass quickly. September can be rainy (hello, hurricane season), but by October and November, things start to cool down a little – just in time for some crowd-free exploring.

Yes, Florida does have a hurricane season - but don't let that stop your holiday dreams.

Hurricane season in Florida officially runs from June 1st to November 30th, with the peak months typically being August through October.

But here’s the thing — while it’s true that storms can happen, Florida’s used to it. Resorts, theme parks, and hotels are well-prepared, and forecasts are super reliable these days. Plus, many travellers still visit during these months and enjoy beautiful weather most of the time.

You're in for a sunshine-soaked adventure packed with everything from magical moments to laid-back beach days. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker, a nature-lover or a foodie in flip-flops, Florida’s got a little something for everyone.

A no-brainer is to experience the magic of Orlando's theme parks, from iconic castles and fireworks at Walt Disney World Resort to movie magic and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ at Universal Orlando Resort.

Away from the parks, you can soak up the sun on Florida's best beaches, including Miami's glitzy South Beach and the sugar-white sands of Clearwater, or the laid-back vibes of Key West. Exploring the everglades is also great for nature lovers.

Yes, you absolutely can do a multi-centre holiday in Florida — and it’s one of the best ways to experience everything this sunshine-drenched state has to offer.

Florida’s bursting with contrast, from magical theme parks to chill beach towns and buzzy cities. So why settle for one vibe when you can have it all?

Some of our favourite combinations are combining Orlando and Miami for a mix of adrenalie and relacation, Clearwater and Naples for a beach tour, or even a Florida road trip from coast to coast.

Whether you’re after laid-back vibes, luxury escapes, family-friendly shores or Insta-famous backdrops, the Sunshine State has a shoreline with your name on it.

Clearwater beach is an award-winning Gulf Coast icon. Think soft, white sand, gental waves and spectacular sunsets.

Regularly named America's No. 1 beach, Siesta Key in Sarasota is peaceful, beautiful and ideal for slowing things down with a cocktail in hand.

For sunbathing by day and partying by night, opt for Miami's South Beach where bold Art Deco style meets turquoise water and world-famous nightlife.

Yes, in many places across Florida, resort fees are a thing — but don’t worry, we’ll help you avoid any surprises. Resort fees (sometimes called amenity fees) are extra daily charges added on top of your room rate. They usually cover perks like WifI access, pool or beach towel service and shuttle service to the theme parks.

They’re most common at larger hotels, beach resorts, and properties in Orlando or Miami. However, we offer plenty of hotels without resort fees too, and you'll find all the information needed on our website.

Unlike the Caribbean or Mexico, all-inclusive holidays aren’t super common in Florida. But if you know where to look (that’s where we come in), you can absolutely enjoy a sunshine-filled, all-you-can-everything kind of getaway.

Most resorts don't offer full all-inclusive — but many include breakfast or meal and drink credits.

If you’re heading to Walt Disney World, keep your eyes peeled for Dining Plan promotions. While not exactly all-inclusive, they let you pre-pay for meals, snacks and drinks across the parks and resorts – great for budgeting and stress-free fun with the kids.

In lots of cases - yes - but it depends on where you're going and how you like to holiday.

Florida is big, bold and beautifully spread out, so having your own wheels gives you the freedom to explore beyond the beaches and theme parks - and make the most of every sunshine-soaked moment.

If you're planning a road trip from Orlando to Miami, or hopping down to the Florida keys, a hire car is essential. The drives are scenic, the roads are easy, and you'll get to see the real Florida along the way.

If you're staying centrally in Miami or South Beach, or staying in a Disney or Universal resort hotel then a car isn't essential. This way you'll avoid hotel parking fees, and you can make use of Uber/lyft, walking, and free park shuttles.
