After, make your way down to Clearwater, home to white-sands, freshly-caught seafood, and beautiful sunsets over the ocean.
From earth-shuddering rollercoasters to water parks the size of lakes. When it comes to some of the world’s greatest attractions, Orlando tops the bill...and you've got a whole week to explore it.
Fly from London Heathrow directly to Orlando with Virgin Atlantic.
Take your pick of one of Orlando's many theme parks, including Universal Orlando Resort™ or Volcano Bay™, before exploring the great foodie scene at Disney Springs. Outside of the theme parks, there are so many great experiences to be had. Head to Kennedy Space Center to see a rocket launch, and you can even have lunch with an astronaut. International Drive is a fantastic hub to spend a day, with the I-Drive 360, diners galore and shopping malls. And the fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down, with many dinner theatres to enjoy and shows such as Cirque du Soleil®.
Take to the road and drive the 1 hour 50 minutes to Clearwater. On the west coast of Florida, Clearwater overlooks the Gulf of Mexico, and is a short drive to well-known Tampa, St Pete's and Sarasota.
Find out about Clearwater
Clearwater beach’s bustling Pier 60 and its six covered pavilions is a great spot for street entertainment and cocktails watching the sunset. Into fishing? This is the place to be, with Spanish mackerel, spotted and silver trout and redfish just some of the many common catches here. It’s no secret that Florida’s beaches are among some of the best in the world, and the white sands here are no exception.
