We arrived very late on Sept 21st, late check in instructions a breeze. Pool view studio, spotlessly clean and bright, everything you need, fridge, toaster all plates, cutlery glasses etc. Bath and shower, the shower was awesome with a magnetic head so you could de-sand when you got in! Without exception everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The location is simply perfect, footsteps from the beach, a short stroll to Johns Pass and everything Madeira Beach has to see and do. Beach beds are available from a 3rd party at $35 a day ( until 5pm). Unfortunately, we were given a mandatory evacuation order on 25th due to Hurricane Helene, and our stay ended at that point due to the absolute devastation suffered, truly heartbreaking. In the midst of the chaos, the guys at Barefoot were truly amazing, going above and beyond for us. We cannot thank you enough, Barefoot Beach Club is my happy place and we will be back next year, we send love you are simply the best! Read less

Great location, easy stroll to John's Pass Boardwalk and all it has to offer. The room was comfortable, the staff were friendly and very helpful, easy parking, direct access to the beautiful beach and in our case a lovely view from our room. Best features for us were the bed, which was one of the most comfortable I've slept in for a long time, the shower (I love the magnetic detachable shower head), chilling on the rooftop terrace with stunning views, particularly at sunset, and the pool area. Very chilled location. We had been made aware there might be some noise, but we didn't hear anything. Read less

Shabby hotel def not 4 stars, room basic only nice is beach view the roof top deck not open, so disappointed I could cry. No carpet in room. British airways should not list this as a hotel to stay at. Def would not recommend. Plus loads of construction work going on.

The beach is beautiful, the pool is refreshing and the beachfront suites are great. I love that there is not daily maid service, but you can exchange towels(as needed) daily, as well as refurnish any of your toiletries, coffee, etc. There is a well stocked kitchenette and a close Publix making it easy to eat breakfast on the patio. Its a short walk to st johns pass, a beautiful shelly beach to walk or run miles on, and laundry facilities on-property. The only negatives-rooms are becoming a bit dated, there could be more attention to detail when rooms are turned over(the outside table was dirty, the couch had a stain, the floor tiles had cracks and the ac is loud. However, for all the positives this place has to offer, I still love it…really a 4.7 Read less
