We have been completely ignored by Marriott Bonvoy Customer Care. We spent sleepless nights with no AC and so far no response for a resolution from Customer Care. A/C wasn't working, so got very little sleep the first night. They came in the morning and replaced the unit. We left for the day. Came back to the room that night to find that the AC… Read more

A/C wasn't working, so got very little sleep the first night. They came in the morning and replaced the unit. We left for the day. Came back to the room that night to find that the AC still wasn't working. So they came back with brand new unit instead of a refurbished one, and it finally worked. They finished after midnight the second night. Read less

Check in took well over 20 minutes with only three people ahead of me...and than the line increase to 8-10 families behind of me. Everyone was very upset. There was a manager watching the agents but never helped There was three desks and all the guests were lining up at different spots because there was no line. One of the biggest reasons I give such a poor review: FOOD POISINING!!!! I didn't eat all day, and decided to have a hamburger at the restaurant downstairs (with very poor service) for dinner and by 1am...I felt the worst I ever felt! EVER. At check out all I wanted was a banana and gatoraid. But their gift shop and coffee shop only head very unhealthy processed chips and carbs/ice cream with no medicine to be seen (or sold out). I stay overnight at around 120 properties per year and I try to only provide positive feedback as I don't like negativity...but this property needs to be called out. I would provide extreme caution if you eat there; nobody should feel like that on any day, especially on holiday. Read less

The reviews online were not good however on arriving at the hotel we were pleasantly surprised. It’s lovely, modern, having been fully renovated over past 18 months. Carl the general manager, made himself known to us at breakfast one morning and he was lovely and friendly, and wanted to make sure our stay was great. The rooms are great, lovely and clean. Beds comfy and we had great nights sleep while we were there for the week. Bath and shower in en-suite. Coffee machine in room, which had coffee bags provided. In lift there was a QR code you could scan to order food then nip down and collect. We had a room looking out at the pool, and in room was 2 double beds, a small dining table and two chairs . Large TV with Netflix etc on it. Both pools were lovely and clean with plenty sunbeds. Small pool area was lovely and quiet and ideal for us as we were there to read and chill in the sun. Large pool has water slide. Staff at hotel are lovely and want to help. We had a great holiday and will certainly revisit . Read less

Wanted to like this place so much, but after several mishaps and attempts to correct on my part since we have a young child so I will try to be fair here: With or without young child: -Hair EVERYWHERE. In the clean beds, in the clean linens, in the freshly cleaned bathtub, on the toilet seen when exiting the shower, in the hotel lobby rugs while waiting for breakfast. We have an Airbnb and while hair is frustrating to remove for a turnover clean this is totally avoidable -Shower Curtains. Nasty. Especially with young child I need to bathe and I was trying to avoid the curtain and the hairs -The smell in the rooms that you can’t just spray out. Very old and moldy and felt unsafe for baby. No ventilation, no balcony rooms -The Housekeeping button dials 911 (yes the “911,what’s your emergency 911) and no one seems to care about fixing that -I asked for a vaccum to clean up a mess baby made myself and it’s been two days with a housekeeping visit… no vaccum and rice is still all over the place -No microwave in any rooms but larger fridge. Would have to schlep to the lobby to heat up leftovers or sanitize bottles The pool and hot tub area is nice as well as the lobby but this must have been purchased recently by Marriott and they are still trying to slap their brand quality on it. Baby found construction screw on the ground in the corner so once again I doubt housekeeping is doing much cleaning in the meantime. I’d call this hotel a pass until the reviews start to show otherwise Read less

Beautiful area between lobby/ restaurant and the path that walks to the rooms , lined with tropical plants and coy fish and waterfalls in the giant pool.quiet place to sit at a patio table. The desk staff and all the employees were especially accommodating given it was a hurricane evac and they had they're hands full trying to.keep it all running smoothly. 5 stars to them. My only problem is is you're not able to walk far you may be staying in your room alot. We are seniors and just could make those long walks in comfortably due to physical limitations. some accommodations need to be in place for elderly and disabled. It would be a great help. And a few more luggage racks in the front. People were always looking for them. Never enough. Free breakfast would've been nice. And microwave in room and working ice machines on every floor. Four stars overall. Read less
