Image of the Tripadvisor rating Plenty of ants inside the hotel but nice pool

The room was basic but functional. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were useless. I reported ants in my room on the first morning which the staff member said he would send someone up to deal with it. No one came. I reported it again the following morning and once again no one came. I was unable to unpack my cases so everything stayed shut in them my whole trip. It turned out it wasn’t just my room. I also saw them on the doors, walls and by the elevators. They were everywhere. On the plus side, the grounds and pool were very nice. Would I stay again? Highly unlikely. Read less

We have just returned from the most wonderful stay in Celebration. It was our second time staying at the hotel since our last visit in 2022 at definately the best! Marriott have invested into the hotel and the standards and level of service are excellent. The onsite Starbucks is super handy and perfect to start you day before heading into the parks. The beds and pillows are really comfortable and the fact that each room has a bath is a real luxury! The grounds are constantly being well maintained and tidied as well as the swimming pool area which was throughly cleaned. The only negative point is that as we did not have a car the shuttle bus is very unreliable. The resort fee we paid goes towards the shuttle bus so we tried hard to use it but the public bus Lynx 56 was very good at $2 a single ride to the Disney transportation centre each way which ran every 30 minutes was a great economical alternative. We did also travel by Uber which was €13 from the ticket transportation was an alternative option 0 Read less

Overall, the hotel was fine but they do add a lot of costs that don't show in your nightly rate ($25 daily resort fee and $22 daily parking fee) so know what your total cost per day is going to be. Overall, the hotel was fine but they do add a lot of costs that don't show in your nightly rate ($25 daily resort fee and $22 daily parking fee) so know what your total cost per day is going to be. Some of my biggest frustrations: 1. I had to call three times to get my room serviced on a day that should have had standard servicing (I think it was 7 or 8 PM when they finally got to it). 2. I stayed in the Tower building and the elevators were often under maintenance or locked for some reason. 3. When I realized the cost of parking, I decided not to park at the hotel and the front desk said they'd remove the charge moving forward. They did not and when I brought it up, they said they would not remove the charge because I didn't turn in the parking piece of paper they had given me (they never told me to or requested it, so I threw it away). Regardless, I ended up paying the parking fee so should have just kept a car on property. 4. Two of the three treadmills were not working in the gym but they did have these fixed the following day. 5. The bathroom was very small and difficult to maneuver. Once again, it's a place to sleep and the rooms are fine, just know what you are getting prior to arriving so you don't make the same mistake I did. If you are a Marriott loyalist (titanium here), just expect this to be one of the cheaper places you've probably stayed at. I've moved my future Celebration trip to the Fairfield for a better experience. Read less

Honestly the hotel is lovely and clean, staff are really helpful and we couldn’t fault it. If we needed to ask anything the staff were on hand to help as best they can. After 2 days of getting Starbucks the girls in there knew what you wanted and you name. Little things like this can make your holiday. Yes some of the rooms may be a little dated (carpets look dated and bathroom door paint comes off a little) but when your using the hotel as a base and the rest of the time out in parks etc it’s perfect for a budget hotel. With Virgin holidays we did have our resort/destination fee and our car park covered which save a few dollars and it also gave us a late check out of 15:00. I have provided some photos to let people see for themselves. Once again this is our opinion and we know others may be different. Read less

This hotel is in a good location, despite the abandoned hotel nearby. The outside facilities are a 10/10. The pools are gorgeous, areas are lit up beautifully and it hosts beautiful palm trees. This hotel is in a good location, despite the abandoned hotel nearby. The outside facilities are a 10/10. The pools are gorgeous, areas are lit up beautifully and it hosts beautiful palm trees. The lobby area is also a 10/10 with tons of space, and nicely decorated. However, do not let the Starbucks name fool you. It isn’t a true Starbucks where rewards and things can be used. The hotel serves Starbucks coffee with a very limited menu. The staff was friendly enough. In our 4 night stay, we were moved 4 times. As a family with three young children, this made it extremely difficult and took away time from our vacation plans. The room we were first put in had a horrible stench, even making our clothing and other items smell musty. After we complained, we were told that they were unsure why we had been given a room there as it was a room for people who brought dogs. They asked us multiple times if we had brought a dog and the answer was absolutely no. We were then moved to another room. When arriving at the new room, the door was broken and we were unable to occupy the room due to staff being unable to open/fix the door. We were then moved to another room with a much better smell, just to be moved again the next night to a different room due to scheduling conflicts. You read that right, 4 rooms, 4 different set of keys, while packing and unpacking with little ones. In the dog room, water took forever to get hot, then it was difficult to regulate. Doors to access hotel from outside were never locked-unsafe. Read less
