This will be the first time in a very long time on TripAdvisor that I have given a hotel that I researched diligently prior to booking, but hopefully the information contained in this review will make travellers aware of the Corporate greed of some resorts. The day we arrived the resort appeared idyllic. Peaceful, quiet and the sunshine glittering of the turquoise sea clearly visible from the reception Area. The ensuring nightmare unfolded as we were shown to our room by Melana, as we passed one of the pool areas, a pool party and loud music had just started. Melana informed us that 200 Schwarzkopf corporate guests had arrived the day before from France for a 4 day event. We then experienced 4 days/nights of hell where these guests were given carte blanche to behave as party animals for their 4 day event. Every single single night they partied until 3am-4am, loud music, loud shouting & singing. Without a care or consideration for the other 200 guests on the resort. What did the Hotel management do?? NOTHING!!! Sorry that is not entirely correct, one night we were given a spare room to sleep that was away from the music. The other 3 nights we were given EAR PLUGS!! I would spend some time saying how brilliant this resort was without these disruptive corporate guests, but after 4 days of hell, the remaining 3 days of our stay just emphasized how terrible the first 4 days of our stay were ruined by the Corporate guests and the docile and ineffectual management. I will take the time to highlight some members of staff, who excelled and attempted to make our stay enjoyable. Sarvesh Dinesh Sharan Friya Rachana Danvesh Priya Leena & Melana were the Guest relations people who had to deal with a great many upset guests of all nationalities, but due the Senior Management Corporate greed, were not able to even stipulate the hotel’s standard curfew for entertainment on the Corporate Guests of 11pm. The Corporate Guests knew they had the run of the hotel and they used it as their playground!! Needless to say, despite being a massive fan of Mauritius as an island and a LUX resorts holidayer (We have stayed at Lux Grand Gaube twice) we will never return to the Tamassa again. Shame on you Tamassa Management!!! Read less

I recently stayed at this beautiful resort with an all-inclusive package to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday, and I couldn't be happier with our experience! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The service was top-notch, with excellent customer care at every turn. A special shout-out to Mr. Ayush, who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible stay. He truly made our experience memorable, and I can't thank him enough for his attentiveness and dedication. The food was delicious and diverse, offering a variety of options that we thoroughly enjoyed. We also requested a birthday cake, and it was delivered right at midnight as per our request, adding such a thoughtful touch to the celebration. The romantic towel decor was also a beautiful surprise, creating the perfect atmosphere for a special getaway. As for the activities, there was something for everyone. The entire experience was fun, engaging, and full of great memories. I highly recommend this all-inclusive package – it was worth every penny, and I will definitely be coming back. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay unforgettable! Read less

We stayed 5 nights at this hotel and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Initially we were not very comfortable as the place is away from the city, not possible to go anywhere without taxi. But as we settled down started liking it. The hotel has a private beach, three swimming pools, to swim, relax and enjoy sunset. The hotel offers activities like snorkeling and coral viewing through glass bottom boats for the guests, but prior booking is necessary. There are a lot of other activities to keep yourself busy. Breakfast was good, but the menu was the same everyday. Lunch and dinner was okay. Anybody who wants to have all meals in the hotel can take all inclusive package which comes with a discount. Above everything, the environment of the hotel, the cool bridge, watching sunset on the beach was the best experience for us. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday. Read less

This hotel has raised the bar for all our future holidays - completely exceeded our already high expectations. We arrived at night and had a lovely welcome and quick tour upon arrival. The room and bed were huge and we could easily order room service. We had a very comfortable stay here with no issues. The main restaurant was also lovely, only open for breakfast and dinner but there was also a bar and "food truck" which you could order from for lunch. Plenty of variety in the menus as well. The staff here are amazing, of caring nature and always ready to help. Huge thanks to them for all they did for us. We were able to book fixed price taxis and even do cash exchanges at reception. Location is good if you have a car or take a taxi out. There were some attractions in walking distance but we didn't go to these, instead booking taxis through the hotel to take us to ones further out but still in the South West region. I really cannot fault this place and I feel as though all descriptions I had read before booking were underselling it. There is so much to do beyond the beach and pools - we also used the spa, game rooms and tennis court. I know there are some other hotels next to this one but it looked like the nicest stretch of beach was just in front of this location :) Views were surreal, especially sunset. We enjoyed ourselves so much we asked for a late checkout on the day we were moving to our next hotel. It was a shame to leave and we have the intention of coming back one day. Read less
