Hotel Staff - Very Child friendly - My husband and I travelled with our 6 month baby for the first time! The staff at the hotel were amazing with the baby and would even sing songs to him when he was getting cranky. Thank you to Annet and the other two ladies (sorry I’ve forgotten your names!) for always entertaining him and being so helpful and caring! I also want to say a massive thanks to the chefs who would provide our baby with mashed food/purées so we could continue our weaning journey while on holiday. Every morning and lunchtime they would speak to us personally and ask what we would want for the baby that day. We cannot thank you enough! Rainya the hotel manager would also speak to us personally and even gave us her card if we needed to contact her about anything we wanted/needed. She was very friendly and our baby absolutely loved her! The hotel - the hotel itself and the rooms were lovely! Overall a great experience but a few things I also wanted to mention as future improvements Food - we were on half board and as we had a baby we were only allowed in a few of the restaurants in the hotel. I feel there were limited vegetarian options in the restaurants - for example Myami had burgers and sandwich’s for lunch but ZERO veggie options apart from starters/salads. The Italian restaurant Cucina had a few more veggie options but I think more should be added. The Mexican restaurant food was good however we were shocked when they charged us 9 dirhams for a tiny bit of mashed up avocado for the baby. Overall I think half board is not worth it when you are veggie as your options are limited. The buffet had veggie options but they I felt there needed to be more variety day to day. I do want to add the staff in ALL restaurants were very friendly! Pool - the pool was very busy and in the 10 days we stayed we never for a sunbedin the shade at the main pool (it was 38/40 degrees so needed shade for baby) which meant we never got to use the main pool. One of the pool staff told me I could come down early to put a towel on a bed and the next day I was told I cannot do this before 8am. (I went down at 730am) when I explained I was told to come down early the staff said I was given the wrong information. This was a major negative as we never got to spend time in the main pool. The kids pool was great and shaded but it would have been nice to spend time in both. Spa - great massages! However I went to use the hydro pool three times and every time is wasn’t warming up even though I was told the engineers had been in to fix it. Overall I would recommend the hotel due to the caring nature of the staff and great location! Read less

It truly feels like our second home. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay. The service was exceptional and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. I would like to give special thanks to Anil from the Front Office, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was arranged perfectly for us. His attention to detail and genuine care made our stay truly comfortable and memorable. Aspak at Reception was also fantastic always ready to assist with a smile and eager to help with any request. A huge thank you to Chef Tolgahan and Chef Faisal at Levantera. They made us feel so special every day, preparing delicious meals tailored to our preferences. Their talent and hospitality truly stood out and added a unique touch to our experience. Thank you to the entire Marriott team for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to return. Read less

We recently enjoyed a fantastic 9-day stay at the Marriott Resort Hotel, Palm Jumeirah. Check-in was swift and friendly, and as Marriott Bonvoy members, we received a complimentary room upgrade—a great start to the trip. The room was excellent: spacious, quiet, with a large bathroom, plenty of towels, and an easy-to-use smart TV. It was always spotless and smelled fresh, thanks to the attentive housekeeping team. Breakfast offered a wide and fresh selection each day, though the registration process felt a bit chaotic and could be streamlined. The swimming pool area was spacious and well-maintained, but unfortunately, early-morning towel reservations seemed to go unchecked. It was disappointing to see loungers occupied but unused, and there were no checks when collecting towels—meaning non-residents could potentially use the facilities. One thing we felt was missing was a good bar or lounge on the ground floor. We ended up visiting the nearby Hilton for evening drinks, which felt like a missed opportunity for the Marriott. Despite these few points, the overall experience was overwhelmingly positive. The service from reception, breakfast staff, pool attendants, taxi coordinators, and cleaners was excellent—friendly, helpful, and always professional. Their efforts truly made us feel welcome and well taken care of. We’d happily return and recommend the Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-serviced getaway in Dubai. Then that morning we asked to sit outside for breakfast told not allowed but we continued to watch people being taken outside . The language Barrier was horrendous with some staff to the point they’d give us wrong things we asked for . During the night kids running freely up and down corridors banging doors shouting screaming along with parents we did complain nothing done . We felt we were treated differently from other families especially local families we will never visit here again as I was also made out to be a liar from reception staff . Read less
