Hotel information

153 rooms and suites. All with air -conditioning, flat-screen TV, mini-bar*, hairdryer, bathrobes and iron and board. Standard Rooms have either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

4 Saints (seasonal food, open for brunch and dinner). Juniper Table (all day menu, open from 7:00am-9:00pm). 2 bars (drinks and light snacks). Rooftop pool. Fully equipped on-site fitness centre. Custom-designed Kimpton PUBLIC bikes for riding around town. Overnight laundry/dry-cleaning service*. Complimentary WiFi*. Official Tesla Destination Charging location.

There is a daily resort fee of $40 plus tax per room (payable locally, fee subject to change).

The rooftop pool is perfection. My 11 year old loves it! The view from the rooftop is the absolute best! High Bar offered amazing food and drinks. We stayed at this hotel last week and it was a great experience, starting with the valet parking that is part of the resort fee to the clean modern room with comfortable beds, the entire stay was one to remember. The rooftop pool and bar are a bit small, but there are more than enough lounge chairs for guests to take advantage of. It is very modern and trendy and sufficient for a weekend stay. We ate breakfast at the pool bar and although the menu is small, the items we chose were all very good. The free coffee in the lobby was a treat especially since they served cold brew. They have a free wine and beer social hour from 4 - 5 PM. The rooms were updated and spacious and the view we had was of the downtown area which was nice. The fitness room was well equipped and had filtered cold water so you could fill your bottles for free. We didn't try the Main rooftop restaurant, since we were only staying one night, but the coffee bar in the lobby had specialty coffees in the morning and cocktails throughout the day as did the lobby bar. We choose Kimpton any time we can. This was our first visit to Palm Springs...the Rowan didn't disappoint. The staff was welcoming and kind. The rooftop pool was a prefect place to relax. We appreciated the central location to restaurants, shops, museums, tour pick-ups, Village Fest, etc. There is a convenient market around the corner (On The Mark) with cheese, wine, sandwiches, and gourmet snacks. Extra kudos to the front desk who moved our room (with a very unexpected upgrade) when they realized our AC wasn't working. Can't wait to come back! Read less

We stayed in this hotel during Memorial Day Weekend. Despite being busy because of the holiday, the staff were very friendly and responsive, and made every effort to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable - from maintaining the free coffee station in the mornings so that it never ran out, to responding quickly to our request for extra bathroom items when we called. Our room was on the 6th floor, which is one level down from the gorgeous rooftop pool. It got noisy during the day because of the live DJ but we didn't mind it so much since we were out most of the day, and most people leave the pool in the early evening anyway. The room was spacious and clean, with lots of nice design touches, and the bed was incredibly comfy. This is our second time staying at this Kimpton, and we'll surely come back! Read less
