My room was clean but old and beat up.
The headboard on the bed looked like a dog chewed all the foam and the bathroom walls had wallpaper separating at the edges. My biggest complaint would be inability to regulate the temperature. The room temperature never got below 72 degrees even though I had it set on 65. Additionally there is no coffee maker or microwave. For a “boutique” hotel I would expect these things to be standard. The bed and pillows were a B-. I will say that the staff from beginning by to end were exceptional. Friendly and helpful, always with a smile. The restaurant servers and bar staff were great also. Special call out to Antwonne who went out of his way for us. The location was convenient to shopping and next to the venue we were attending a conference.

I went on Monday for breakfast and had the pancakes — they were absolutely delicious, and the coffee was just as good. Sadly, the service wasn’t up to par. The waiter, Edgar, had a bad attitude and reeked of alcohol, which made the experience uncomfortable despite the great food.

Outstanding service! Our waiter Edgar had excellent recommendations and we felt well taken care of throughout. A definite must dine for anyone in the city. The level of quality of food and cocktails and service far exceeds any other location in the area.

The best part of the experience was our server Edgar, who did an outstanding job. He was very attentive, asked whether we were celebrating anything and brought a dessert when told it was a birthday. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and chill vibe.
