The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. The food was less than desirable but within walking distance to a lot of places. Excellent views. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because you have to purchase everything on top of the room charges. Everything costs here. Internet is not free. There is a daily fee you have to pay as well. My $2000 reservation turned into almost $2700. It was a little disappointing how much they charge in addition to everything else. Read less

Their inside bars do not start serving until 4PM or 5PM (including room service), so my husband and I had to walk along the river walk to have drinks elsewhere. Additionally, the rooms were nice and spacious as we had a good view of the river. I am unsure if I would return again due to the hotel’s high traffic and evening selected dining hours, but I would recommend it to others in need of a business event hotel. Read less

Our room didn’t have a fridge or microwave but we asked for a fridge and they delivered one quickly. We stayed in a junior suite but there was no bedding for the couch-bed so we had to ask the front desk. The king sized bed had no blanket or comforter which we found odd but it was so warm out we really didn’t need it. Bed was comfy and room had modern decor. Room service had a limited menu but the food was okay. The lobby is dimly lit as other reviewers have said and difficult to locate the bathrooms and elevators. Very convenient location as we were able to walk to Navy Pier and other touristy things. Overall the staff was super friendly and we will definitely stay here again. Read less

The Sheraton is a fine hotel. I was here for a conference and everything went really well. The staff is fantastic! First the negatives: The prices at Shula's, the restaurant in the lobby, are exorbitant. Entrees can be $60+ while a house side salad is almost $20. The hotel decor is dated although the room decor is up to date. The plumbing is LOUD so close your bathroom door if you want to sleep through the night. I noticed a heavy seafood-like odor throughout the conference center one day. Now, the good stuff: I have to say the housekeepers were delightful, as were the porters - the men out front welcoming you in and helping with your bags are old-school classic-service kind of guys. Really nice. I have to give respect to the culinary team - I am a vegan, which is a challenge, at best. But each day of the conference, the chef made me a special vegan meal that was always hot and delicious - thank you!!!!! The best thing about this hotel is the location - fantastic! - right on the river and near everything. Walk the river to find great outdoor spots for drinks and food or catch a boat cruise. Stay for the convenience and the service, not the decor. Read less
