The hotel

Combining modern architecture with the feel of a mountain lodge, the Tivoli is a firm favourite with skiers. Warm in atmosphere with great service from attentive staff, it also enjoys unobstructed views of the Vail’s Golden Peak ski area. Guest rooms are spacious and impeccably-appointed with the finest linens and large soaking tubs – much appreciated after a busy day on the mountain! There are also two hot tubs to stake your place in, both with mountain views, the perfect way to relax and unwind. Breakfast is a delight at the Tivoli, complete with an omelette station and house specialities such as French toast and buttermilk biscuits. Come sundown, there’s the Brown Hound Lounge with overstuffed chairs, leather sofas and towering views of the mountain. A wonderful place for a spot of après-ski, try a signature Indini cocktail, inspired by former mascot Indy, the chocolate Labrador for whom the name is lounged – yep, you guessed it, it has a chocolate theme!

66 rooms and suites. All with air-conditioning, satellite TV with pay-per-view films*, DVD player (free DVD rentals), telephone, complimentary WiFi, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, safe, hairdryer, iron and board. Many rooms also have a fireplace. Village Standard Room with 1 king-size or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Mountain View Room with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Brown Hound Lobby Lounge. Complimentary Starbucks coffee in the lobby each morning. Complimentary fresh baked cookies, hot chocolate, hot cider, and tea in the lobby each afternoon during ski season. Complimentary Winter Ski Valet. 2 outdoor mountain-view hot tubs. Fitness Centre. Complimentary WiFi throughout. Ski storage. Laundry service*. Valet parking prices are seasonal, parking in winter is $40 and $30 in the summer, $15 in October. All prices are plus tax, per night (payable locally, subject to change).

Hello. We just returned from our family vacation across the county and will be filing another complaint from our recent stay at Tivoli. In short, we just left for a 2 week family vacation. My husband, who is a Pacific Islander, walked in at 11PM on 7/9 and spoke with David, front desk clerk, asking if there were any rooms available. David told him there were not rooms available and said suggested cheaper hotels in the area. When my husband returned to the car, I decided to check online and found several rooms available so I booked a room. I went inside to check in and asked David why he told my husband something different. He had a very hard time explaining and blamed the computer and couldn't even look me in the eye. When I addressed this issue in an email to Ms. Lazier (owner) and Mr. Salais their response was noted as a misunderstanding for room availability by their audit team which is a blatant lie. I even asked when we checked out the next morning how many rooms were available last night, and they desk clerk told me 6. Now that I am home, I will be sharing this story on social media so future guests can be made aware of how PREJUDICE this hotel is. All I expected was an apology and refund of $300. Read less

needed something out of my car. rather then bringing my car around because it was raining, the front dest handed me an umbrella i had to sign for and told the car is across the street, get it yoursel.f

Absolute gem of a hotel! Located in beautiful surroundings and the valet staff and beyond kind and helpful! The rooms are so comfortable, the only thing I recommend is that they either upgrade the mattresses, or out memory foam layers on top of the mattress. It was so hard I actually had to sleep on top of. Other than that, amazing!
