The LINQ Hotel + Experience

The Strip, Las Vegas

Virgin rating

The hotel

Well-connected, the name lets slip the hotel’s ‘link’ to extra food, fun and frivolity. The guestrooms are hip and high-tech, but you won’t be there much with the LINQ’s endless diversions. The centrepiece is the High Roller – the world’s tallest observation wheel, at 550-ft high it takes 30 minutes to do the full loop. You’re also ‘linked’ to an exclusive shopping, entertainment and dining promenade. And, of course, the all-essential Vegas casino. Over 21s can enjoy the pool, with nightly swims twice a week, Champagne Sundays and pool deck misting. Then there are the other decadences: the Brooklyn Bowl, a massive bowling and live music venue, and endless dining and drinking establishments, including 24-hour Hash House A Go Go, whose colossal portions featured on ‘Man v Food’.

Booked a deluxe city view in District 3. Initially was given a room in District 1. After asking to be moved they did move me to District 3 however there was no view at all. Icing on the cake, there was blood stained bedding. They did very little to accommodate it only offering $50 voucher for the inconvenience. I was there for work, everything was… Read more

We made our reservation months in advance and checked in early this morning to avoid any issues. Unfortunately, our flight was delayed by several hours, causing us to arrive later than expected. When we approached the reservation desk, we were told that the room we had reserved was no longer available and we would be given a different room—one that was nothing like what we had originally booked. The manager explained that the room we wanted would be available the next day. What was most frustrating, however, was that the guests ahead of us in line had the same issue but were compensated, while we were essentially told to accept it. While I’d hate to think it was based on our appearance, it certainly felt like we were treated differently. The room we received was nothing like what we had requested, and the manager seemed indifferent to our concerns. Honestly, after this experience, I have no interest in ever returning to this hotel. Room is spacious and clean. I do like the Hotel concept, the lobby, the casino, hallways, rooms and staff service is great. Any complain. Great location as you have direct access to the Metrorail. Its a super deal for business or short trips.

Went here for my honeymoon and the location is great and the staff are friendly. The pool is perfect to relax by and I could have easily stayed all day. Plenty of choice for food and drink. Sadly the fire alarm did go off twice at 5:30am and that put a bit of a damper on the stay.

Decided to stay here for a night before my trip to the canyons because I was not able to visit the Linq Promendae on my last trip to Vegas. I was comped the room through Caesar's Rewards, so I really shouldn't complain. But I will. Decided to stay here for a night before my trip to the canyons because I was not able to visit the Linq Promendae on my last trip to Vegas. I was comped the room through Caesar's Rewards, so I really shouldn't complain. But I will. First the good: Quick check-in; self-park garage close to casino/room; service was good (requested extra pillows and blankets and I can swear I heard the door knock before I hung up the phone); bed was comfortable; the Promenade is great with many choices to eat. Now, the bad. I don't know what the room costs as it was comped, but I wouldn't pay whatever they charge. No attention to detail at all in this hotel. The garage elevator was filthy and slow. The regular elevators not too much nicer. The head board of the bed was broken and revealed inner wiring (see photo). The room was small. The walls and wallpaper were a little beat up. Chair in room was dirty and stained. Would not stay here again. Read less
