The LINQ Hotel + Experience

The Strip, Las Vegas

Virgin rating

The hotel

Well-connected, the name lets slip the hotel’s ‘link’ to extra food, fun and frivolity. The guestrooms are hip and high-tech, but you won’t be there much with the LINQ’s endless diversions. The centrepiece is the High Roller – the world’s tallest observation wheel, at 550-ft high it takes 30 minutes to do the full loop. You’re also ‘linked’ to an exclusive shopping, entertainment and dining promenade. And, of course, the all-essential Vegas casino. Over 21s can enjoy the pool, with nightly swims twice a week, Champagne Sundays and pool deck misting. Then there are the other decadences: the Brooklyn Bowl, a massive bowling and live music venue, and endless dining and drinking establishments, including 24-hour Hash House A Go Go, whose colossal portions featured on ‘Man v Food’.

The Linq Hotel will nickel and dime your for their services. 1. We arrived at the hotel 45 minutes before check-in time. Our room was ready and available but they charged us $20 to check-in 45 minutes early. 2. Our friend’s room on the same floor and same room rate, had a refrigerator, our room did not. When we called to ask for a refrigerator, they said it would cost $20 for the refrigerator🤬 3. Our friend’s room had a box of Kleenex. Our room did not. When we asked the house cleaner in the hallway for a box of Kleenex, he said he did not have any Kleenex and gave us a package of napkins. 4. After housekeeping cleaned our room, he left all the dirty towels on the bathroom floor. 5. Our safe in the room was broken and would not open. We followed the instructions to reset the safe code without success. When we called the front desk, they said they would send maintenance up but we needed to be present in the room. They could not tell us how long it would be before maintenance would arrive. Why do we need to be in the room when housekeeping staff enters our room daily when we are out? 6. One of two light bulbs missing in bed night stand light. Called housekeeping, never fixed. Beware. Never again… Read less

We stayed at the LINQ comped in August during Caesars' 10x event. This was the 5th time we have stayed at the LINQ and also had another stay while it was still Imperial Palace. We checked in late around 10:00pm. It was quite busy but got served quickly in the Diamond line. We received a king room in District 3 on the 8th floor. Our room overlooked the pool. The room was clean and as expected. There was a fridge for personal use. It's a basic room but it does the trick. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We had no issues with hot water and had good water pressure. The pool music is loud. It starts between 0900-0930 hrs, so if you want to sleep in, you might want a room higher up or not facing the pool. As said, it was loud and you could hear the words of the song perfectly. We didn't sleep late, so wasn't bothersome to us. The elevators get a bad rap, but again on this trip we had no real issues. We used the elevators for District 2 mainly, but when we left the room, we used the District 3 elevators. The only time we had a small wait was around 1100 hrs when everyone was checking out. Lots of variety in food options on offer, and an easy walk down the LINQ Promenade. The casino floor isn't as vast as other hotels, but easy to pop into Harrah's or Flamingo for more selection when needed. The pool is 21+ There was games to play and pool floaties for everyone's use. You can't beat the location of this hotel. Would stay here again. Read less

The location of the hotel in proximity provides great access to the strip and everything you want to do while in Las Vegas. Valet is across the way, on the website it makes it seem as though it's a short distance. The valet staff at Harrah's is okay at best, they tried explaining to me valet was free for diamond/seven stars only and time and limited parking only. The amount of parking spots for valet on the 2nd floor was more than ample for a Tueday night check in. I tried contacting valet for a receipt the next day, the front desk transferred me twice and I was disconnected to find out that valet doesn't take calls by 3rd person answering phones at front desk. At the check in up front, i checked box for service daily, I did not receive any service. It is not easy to get in and out of this place, if you uber to and from here you may be okay. I don't expect more personal contact in the age of digital everything but when you do interact with staff here they are average at best. Read less

Don’t expect to be welcomed by an actual human, kiosks are the Linq’s standard because they are short-staffed. That isn’t my complaint but it was the first clue. Hot Water in shower was absent, dirty rooms, no room service, strange smells ,parking lot weak, but the final straw was the bug i found living in our bed. So hopefully you see this review… Read more

Queen dbl bed room is small. Shower water pressure bad. W/O running the water, sink backed up with black water. Housekeeping missed our room on our 3rd day. We were out of towels, Kleenex and toilet paper. Remote to tv didn’t work. Room smelled like smoke/weed.
