Very old outdated hotel felt like a cheap motel, dark gloomy interiors and the worst layout I’ve ever seen, hard to navigate and find rooms, had a shabby tired feel, one of the receptionist was very rude and unfriendly not a good first impression, the duvet on the bed which is in between two bed sheets was filthy I was horrified it was changed…

We recently spent two nights at this hotel and enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast menu offered a good selection and the food was well prepared and presented. The location was good for us for what we like to see/do when at the Cape. The only negative was the noisy group of kids playing in the hallway the first night of our stay.
Where were the parents? Overall, a good choice and we all agreed we’d stay there again.

The bar next to the restaurant is TINY so order a drink and sit down as you may never get a seat at the small bar. This inn is at least two blocks from the nearest external restaurant and there are no sidewalks. Expect to take an Uber if you need to go to a local restaurant.

After disaster at much more expensive Cape Cod inn, we switched to Doubletree Pleasantly surprised. Nice rooms/staff.

Happily found this hotel after walking away from our reservation at high-priced inn that smelled moldy and looked run down. Doubletree had nice room and friendly staff. Hot cookie at check in. Breakfast okay, not great. Very pleased overall.

The entire hotel was VERY musty and the odor was extremely strong. The hotel had dehumidifiers out in the hallways but they did little to no good; and none in the rooms. The hotel needs updating.

The worst aspect by far was a rear entrance step that was not standard height with a threshold that extended a couple of inches beyond the step. This cause a 75 year old member of our group to trip and fall entering the building. Fortunately he suffered only a few bruises.
The beds and pillows were comfortable and the staff friendly. No restaurant was open during our stay; at least that I saw.
