The hotel

New York’s newest hotel, the Courtyard combines Marriott’s reputation for quality with the allure of a hip and happening location. Rooms are spacious and well equipped but better still, many boast views of the Hudson River – unbeatable! New Yorkers take their fitness seriously, hence the gym is available 24-hours of the day. Stayed here two nights enjoyed this hotel. The staff at the hotel very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was very small but clean and met all of our needs. Hotel amenities were awesome , laundry service and the gym. I would definitely stay here again if in the area

My daughter and I unfortunately had a terrible experience with this hotel. We checked and the next morning realised that we had left our important paperwork in one of the drawers in our room. After leaving numerous messages first thing that morning and never received and return car messages we travelled back to the hotel by lunchtime. When I explained the situation they told me that nothing had been found in our room which was now occupied. I told them that I desperately needed the paperwork and wouldn’t take no for an answer so security told me they would go and check the room. He came back and told me he had checked the room and there was nothing in the drawers. I then asked to speak with the manager. The security manager came and told me that the room was occupied so they couldn’t enter. TOTALLY contradicted what the first security officer told me! I told him I would not leave until I had the room checked. He eventually came back to me with a plastic bag containing my belongings. I left. When I later checked my belongings half my stuff was missing including approximately $200 Australian dollars, not books, my diary and a brand new portable phone charger! I again rang them and spoke with the same security officer who said he would check again and get straight back to me. Three days later we had to fly home to Melbourne without hearing from them. I certainly wouldn’t ever recommend this hotel. Constantly lying and theft! Carolyn Read less

This hotel is a disgrace to Marriott. It is in need of a major upgrade! USB ports didn’t work, bulbs were missing, the room smelled stale. Grout was coming up from the tile.
