Wow what a gem of a hotel. Got a really good deal on it as well through TUI. It's served by about 5 different subway lines all within walking distance so you can literally get anywhere. 8 min walk straight line walk to Central Park,  same in the other direction to Times Square Checkin was smooth and swift. I got a free upgrade to a corner room and it was amazing. Room was so clean and fresh looking. Massive TV as well where you can sign in to streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon. Bed was big and comfortable. Cleaners came daily. There are 4 lifts in the hotel so no problems with lifts which I heard alot about with a few Manhattan hotels. Bathroom was clean. Only minus is that this room had a shower curtain rather than glass screen. Had breakfast once, decent enough offering but not sure if it's worth the $29.99 - I didn't pay. So many food and breakfast places around. If your running low on cash they have $1.50 Pizza slice literally round the corner. The hotels. location is the stand out for me All staff I encountered were lovely. They also accommodated a slightly later check out of 1pm. Bonus - They have onsite laundry which is good if you want to wash clothes. Slight sour note but nothing to do.with the hotel. I used one of their drivers to drop me to the airport -  he tried to over charge me which I was having none of - be careful. Read less

Room 1202 for one night. Nice room, clean with a modern design. Nice bed — very nice, comfortable medium firm mattress (but not hard), sits up a little high from the floor (which I like but if you're very short you might need to hop up); four soft pillows; nice city view; helpful bellhop and front desk staff, easy check-in; double doors open to… Read more

Nice bed — very nice, comfortable medium firm mattress (but not hard), sits up a little high from the floor (which I like but if you're very short you might need to hop up); four soft pillows; nice city view; helpful bellhop and front desk staff, easy check-in; double doors open to the bath which was done for space reasons, but can get in the way a little bit if the doors aren’t closed when you're inside; quiet; typical amenities — shower gel, shampoo, conditioner installed in the shower; good quality towels; hair dryer; plenty of task lighting; single serve coffee and tea; safe; mini fridge; extra large tv; clock; phone. Fill your water bottle in the lobby. One complaint of the property is that there’s not much of a lobby for waiting for other members of your party. 4 chairs in one corner and two chairs against the opposite wall. Also, the design of the lobby has shiny, reflective stone on the floor. Personally, it feels cold, not welcoming but everything else was very good. Pleasant stay. Always looking for a good hotel at a reasonable price in the theatre district and this fits the bill. I would definitely stay here again. Recommended. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Great location, but leaky windows and cold water without adequate pressure.

Stayed for 2 nights with my teenager for a mom/daughter trip. Had a King room, which was super small (which I expect for New York, but worth mentioning for those who are unfamiliar with the cramped quarters). Bed was comfortable. Had a King room, which was super small (which I expect for New York, but worth mentioning for those who are unfamiliar with the cramped quarters). Bed was comfortable. Location is amazing for Broadway shows. HOWEVER, it was cold this weekend (down into the teens) and the room was COLD. The window leaked freezing cold air (which clearly the hotel knows about, since there was green painters tape around the edges of the window to try to seal them, but that just doesn't work). The water pressure was terrible to begin with, but this morning (when outdoor temps were 8F) there wasn't hot water. I lower my expectations in NYC, but this was barely Marriott standards. I will look for another option next time. Read less

We were considering booking Park Central however changed to this hotel due to the trip advisor reviews regarding charges for fake smoke activations. Positives; Bed was comfortable. Location is great. Victor was really helpful on us trying to extend the room for a later check out due to flight times. Negatives; The reception area is very underwhelming. Staff member who checked us in was not friendly in the slightest, possibly in need of hospitality training?! Going in and out of the hotel all staff members, including security, looked really unhappy. The bathroom door hit the toilet everytime you opened /closed it. No bin bags. Plastic cutlery for breakfast. Tables not wiped inbetween visitors are breakfast. Breakfast area is very small so was a bit manic. Read less
