This was my first time to Barbados and this hotel. Detailed review for those who need it. I know I did. Usually I’m a hotel freak if I’m leaving my well kept clean home any hotel I go to it must be at least that. And I can say the beach club were very attentive to the cleanliness of the rooms. The reviews prior to coming started to put me off but once we were here I can say the hotel staff were very much on top of cleaning room. I did have to ask a few times for the shower to be cleaned but that was all. The hotel staff are friendly and quiet, this hotel is very much relaxing vibes. The hotel staff leave you too it but they are warm once you interact. They made us feel very relaxed and at ease. The chef was VERY good. I’ve seen reviews here that say the food was average, for me who really does go out to eat well I can say the chef out did the food. Especially for a inclusive first time. I rarely do all inclusive as I’d rather go and find somewhere new to experience but the chef made that possible just by the ranges of food we had everyday, the food isn’t cooked down for just “tourists” we really got the Bajan authentic tasting food. From pumpkin fritas and fish Frita to coconut fish and rice, beef pepper stew and fried plantains bbq chicken freshly cooked. They still have the “normal” foods available Im just so happy that the Bajan food was available and delicious as we still ate out so the chefs standard of cooking was great. The beach sits on a private beach setting, the beach is absolutely beautiful, breathtaking. Perfect beach the ONLY DOWNSIDE IS- as the beach comes to the corner the seaweed can appear. Which it did whilst I was there. 2 things to remember GET YOUR MOSQUITO INJECTION BEFORE COMINH TO BARBADOS. The downside of the seaweed for real is that the mosquitoes live of it and bite the crap out of you, please bring spray injection or whatever it is, if your hotel do not get that seaweed clear the bites are unbearable. It’s a shame in this hotel they didn’t just move the seaweed of a morning well at least try too I think two or three men could of did it. But the seaweed was almost just left and we didn’t realise that’s where the mosquitoes come from so whilst we sat on the beach day and night we were getting attacked and didn’t realise! That’s was the downfall of the hotel the seaweed. Otherwise the staff are willing and helpful, I’ll also recommend a car as the taxi drivers will play you on prices. Reception staff were lovely and helpful, I think her name was Kim thank you. The restaurant staff were so so kind and warming. They always are so happy and smiling, they all have a positive happy attitude makes your stay more meaningful so thank you to all the staff and the ones who make a difference! Breakfast always lovely too. The view of restaurant overlooking the blue waters adds that touch of humbleness. Yes hotel could use update on the decor and bar to freshen up otherwise for culture real food and relaxing vibes I’d recommend. The beach club next door is nice too, the food and drinks are less authentic and more for a tourist vibe so if your looking for an arugula salad with tossed chestnuts you can just pop to the beach club next door and have more of the beach club vibes. It would of been even better with the bar being how the picture is shown the part that you’ve shut off by the swing. The pool and bar looked so nice on the other side and could give more fun vibes if opened again. Nevertheless thank you for a memorable holiday! All the hotels in barbados are expensive while serving for a place to stay in barbados you’ve just got to choose the vibes you need as the beaches are ALL BEAUTIFUL no matter what hotel you stay at if the beach is by your hotel it’s going to be beautiful. I guess let the vibes decide for you. This for me was the vibe we wanted to experience! Read less

Bartenders Shaun and Gabriel knew how to entertain at the bar. We were there during Hurricane Beryl and staff did all they can to make our stay okay. The rooms are good, 508 gives a view of the ocean and the hotel. Read less

And late but not least I checked in and out and have no reciept nothing to shown I stayed at the hotel . I would only consider coming back because the staff treated us like family other than that I would not return. Read less
